Cu Chi Tunnels
We depart Ho Chi Chi Minh City in the morning to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, known for its role in the anti-American resistance during the Vietnam War and now seen as a symbol of heroism. With over 220 km of underground tunnels, it's a popular tourist attraction for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. The scenic route from Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi passes through the local countryside, offering sights such as ducks and buffalo along the river. Despite its tranquil appearance today, it's hard to imagine the destruction caused by bombing and mines in the past, when Cu Chi was designated as a "free target zone."
My Tho
After investigating the tunnels, we'll head to My Tho, a province in the Mekong Delta region. We'll embark on a boat ride along the upper Mekong and witness the Four Animal Islands named after creatures in Buddhist lore: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Turtle. On this portion of the tour, you'll get a glimpse of local Vietnamese life and how it is tied to the river. Later, we'll take you on a rowboat excursion through the narrow waterways, showcasing the fertile agriculture of the delta with its fruit orchards, coconut plantations, and beekeeping farms. During the tour, you'll have the opportunity to taste honey tea, seasonal fruits, fresh coconut candy, and enjoy southern Vietnamese folk music. Finally, we'll return to Ho Chi Minh City and drop you off at your hotel around 6:30 PM.

5.00Fantastic day experience with a fabulous guide Toan, who looked after us ang was friendly, welcoming and informative. It was a full day with approx 2 hours travelling to the Cuchi tunnel and Mekong delta. We had an opportunity to meet local people, sample local food and hear local music. If you want a small group (we were a group of 6) and a day to experience Vietnam, then this is the tour for you! Highly recommend.

4.00Tour guide Toan was very good! He led us through the day great. The day begins with a visit to the Cu Chi tunnels. 2 hours driving time and then comes the exciting tourist attraction. After the ES we will then go to the Mekon Delta in another 2 hours. And you can save that. Too much wasted time. Once at the Mekon, ES head to Unicorn Island to see a sugar production. Another 2 hours are then the drive home. So if you are expecting another historical exploration, you are out of place here. The bus was well air conditioned (Ford Transit), but not like in the photo

5.00This was a long but wonderful day trip... It was very interesting to see the Cu Chi Tunnels - you actually get to experience a short tunnel which is not as easy to walk through as you first think. Makes you appreciate what the soldiers had to go through. Mekong Delta was also very interesting in that we got to see some of the local way of life etc. One of the highlights was our tour guide - Dao. She was very fluent in English, informative and very helpful throughout the trip.

5.00What a big day it was. We were greeted by a luxury air conditioned van with large spacious seats. Max was great and extremely knowledgeable and no question left unanswered. I was one of our best, if not the best tour. Highly recommended.
