Cu Chi Tunnels
After pickup from your Ho Chi Minh City hotel, travel to the Cu Chi Tunnels and follow your guide on a tour of the tunnels. Learn how the Viet Cong soldiers used the vast network of underground tunnels during the Vietnam War. Step inside the tunnels and see the former war bunkers, ammunition stores, and field hospitals. Then pose for photos peeking out of a camouflaged trapdoor, climb aboard an old American army tank, or visit the shooting range (optional: own expense). This tour also includes a quick visit to a Vietnamese rubber plantation. Your tour ends with drop-off in Ho Chi Minh’s city center.

2.00This tour to the Cu Chi tunnels was fine, but we paid extra for this tour company for a guaranteed smaller group, hotel pickup, and a stop at a rubber plantation, none of which occurred. Our group was 20+ people when we paid for no more than 14. They refused to pick us up because we were in an Airbnb not a hotel. We did not visit a rubber plantation. We returned an hour later than scheduled. I would not recommend this company as they do not perform the tour as advertised.

5.00Comfortable bus ride with friendly guide Bao (William) and fellow travellers. Cu Chi tunnels are an interesting insight into the power of the human spirit and determination. They are also very low!

5.00Enjoyed our day visiting the tunnels. So much history to view and experience. We had an excellent tour leader who provided us with the background of this area that was and is such an important part of the history of Vietnam. Definitely recommend taking this day trip.
