It has now been developed into an award-winning museum and visitor experience. Your entrance ticket will allow you to explore her in full. Discover what life was like on board a true survivor of the seas, see the sailors' quarters and take the helm at the ship's wheel.Stand on the main deck and marvel at the towering masts and 11 miles of rigging, take the helm at the ship’s wheel, and enjoy fabulous views of the River Thames. Located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Maritime Greenwich, the National Maritime Museum and the Queen’s House are both located within a short walking distance from Cutty Sark and are free to visit. We visited today and were really impressed. The welcome at the front desk was warm and friendly. All the way round the Cutty Sark, you could get involved in interactive exhibits and the information was shared in a way that kept you interested. All the staff around the ship were helpful and knowledgable too! We loved it and we can see why it would appeal to children with all of the additional activities to engage them. Well worth a visit!

The historic Cutty Sark, a British clipper ship built in 1869, was one of the last tea clippers to be built and one of the fastest. This magnificent ship was restored and is an excellent museum devoted to early shipping. The exhibits are well done and friendly staff, many of whom are involved in ongoing maintance, are available to answer questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on this vessel.

This was our family's second time at Cutty Sark and we learned even more history this time around. We also got to see how the ropes are made and the kids got to make some for themselves as souvenirs! As always - a wonderful family learning experience. We will definitely be back.

The clipper is really well restored and presented propped up on struts above a glass structure resembling the open sea. Well worth it if you buy the joint ticket with the Royal Observatory

Lots to see onboard, all presented in a modern and clear way for visitors. Enjoyed trying to ‘virtual’ sail the ship in the prevailing winds. Right next to Greenwich Town with loads of shops and cafes. Also adjacent to Greenwich Market..worth a visit too.

This is comfortably the best attraction at Greenwich and if you only have time for one, make it this one. The ship is beautifully preserved and presented and fascinating to learn so much about. The audio guide is a must have and is excellent both in pitch and duration. The ability to walk under the ship sets this apart from any other dry dock ship museums.

All the pictures make it sound super cool, but unfortunately its a boring attraction unless you are a small child. Waste of time and money. The shop also has nothing good.
