Dillan was absolutely great. I’d highly recommend this tour if you want to see a different side of Osaka. The backstories that Dillan told along the way provided additional insights to why some of the darker sides of Osaka continue to exist today.

Our tour guide was Dylan and throughout the tour his deep knowledge of Osaka’s social landscape was immediately apparent. He didn’t just show us sights; he educated us about complex urban realities with sensitivity and insight. His ability to explain intricate social issues in an accessible way made the tour both enlightening and engaging while keeping it fun. The walking was manageable for all fitness levels, with natural rest stops that enhanced rather than interrupted the learning experience. I would enthusiastically recommend Dylan’s tour to anyone seeking a deeper understanding of Japanese urban life beyond typical tourist experiences. we would have never discovered the places he brought us without him and he gave us also his list of restaurant recommendations at the end.
