This tour is a great way to start your trip to Venice. Caterina, our guide, was super knowledgeable and friendly. We went to a few different spots to try wines, small plates, a cocktail demonstration and Gelato. At each stop Caterina gave us some history on the area and things we tried. She had an answer for every question! Best of all, I have some unique allergies and Caterina made sure to contact each restaurant prior to arriving to make sure I had something to taste that was allergen free!

Tina was the highlight of hospitality with this fantastic food & wine experience, facilitated in numerous local restaurants and dining areas throughout Florence. A must do excursion for all!

We liked the guide Antonella, who was interesting with food and wine stories. Unfortunately, this food and wine tour did not meet our expectations. For the price we paid, the amount of food offered was ridiculously small – it honestly felt like a joke. The tour is quite expensive, yet what is served to participants is minimal, which made us feel we didn’t get value for our money. It’s a shame, because the neighborhood where the tour takes place is truly interesting, especially for foodies like us. But cutting corners on food is not the way to attract guests or earn good reviews. There’s great potential here, but unless they significantly improve the portions and overall experience, we wouldn’t recommend it.

This was fabulous! Great wine, wonderful food, fantastic guide. Serena (Hope I spelled name correctly) was a phenomenal local guide who spoke perfect English, made everyone feel like local!
