Drive your own stylish Vespa through Tuscany, just as the locals do, on this 4-hour small-group tour from Florence! Following your guide, leave Florence and head to the hills, passing beautiful attractions like the Church of San Miniato al Monte and Piazzale Michelangelo. Finish in the best way possible, with a relaxing and typically delicious Tuscan meal at our country estate.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness

A valid driver license is required, bring the original with you! A copy or a photo is not accepted

Minimum participant age: 18 years

Previous experience riding a scooter is recommended. The tour leader reserves the right at his or her absolute discretion to terminate the participation of any rider who is unable to ride the Vespa safely.

Vegetarian option is available, but we regret that gluten free or other alternative dietary requirements cannot be catered for

What a great day. This is a must do activity with these guys. They had everything down to a tee. Pickup, safety briefing, practice run, tour, lunch and return all perfect. Always making sure we safe on the roads but still having a great time. Thoroughly recommend this tour.

Chris, Leo and Dario made our first Vespa experience unforgettable. They all were extremely diligent in ensuring our safety while operating the machines and also on the road. An unexpected surprise was a view of Florence that you could only get via this trip!!

This was an amazing day out driving Vespas out in the Tuscan countryside. The guides, Dario, Christian and Leo were friendly, patient and very clear with the instructions which was so appreciated learning to drive a Vespa on Italian roads. I was nervous about learning but the initial demonstration was clear and easy to follow and they took the safety checks very seriously to make sure everyone was safe. The two expert drivers and unsung heroes, Massimo and Alessandro also supported the tour by riding ahead to check roads and make sure it was clear for us to turn right or left where oncoming traffic could be dangerous. This was so helpful in making sure we were safe. They went above and beyond to ensure we could navigate the roads confidently and nobody got left behind. I’m sure more than a few incidents were avoided because of them. Dario was our guide and made everybody feel welcome while also making us laugh and giving us some fascinating history about the region. Christian and Leo did a wonderful job of demonstrating how to use the Vespas safely and run safety checks to make sure everybody could successfully drive and feel confident before we left. We had a wonderful time and ate some delicious food overlooking a beautiful view. I highly recommend this tour and want to thank Walkabout Tours and our fantastic team for everything they did to make this a reality. 10/10. Grazie di cuore!
