Guests will prepare classic Roman appetizers like crispy zucchini blossoms stuffed with mozzarella and anchovies, and delicate fried sage leaves. They'll learn how to make two types of gluten-free pasta from scratch—the original Fettuccine Alfredo made with eggs and gluten-free flour, and traditional trofie pasta with homemade pesto, ground fresh in a mortar. Finally, they'll create a full gluten-free tiramisù, entirely from scratch. Every dish is easy to replicate at home, making this not just a fun and delicious day, but a lasting memory guests can take to their own kitchen.

Christian did a wonderful job teaching and making sure everyone was included. The food we created was amazing! Even those of us who can eat gluten were enthusiastic about how great the gluten free pasta tasted. We are looking forward to trying the recipes at home.

Loved Chef Christian’s cooking class! He was very engaging and was such a good teacher while keeping the class fun. All the food was absolutely delicious. This was definitely one of our trip highlights! Highly recommend!

We took this class as a family, including our two teenagers, and it ended up being one of the best things we did in Rome. Chef Christian was warm, patient, and clearly passionate about what he does. Exactly the kind of host who makes a hands-on class fun for kids and adults alike. The real revelation was the gluten-free pasta. We made it fresh from scratch, and honestly, it rivals “regular” pasta in texture and flavor. We also made a beautiful fresh pesto and a proper tiramisu, all from scratch. The proof came after we got home: we recreated the pasta for family, and my brother-in-law, a professional pastry chef, was genuinely amazed by the quality of the dough. That says a lot. If you’re traveling with celiac or gluten-sensitive family members and worried about missing out on the food experience in Italy, book this class. You won’t feel like you’re settling for a substitute. You’ll leave with techniques and recipes that hold up to professional scrutiny, and have a great time doing it.

What a delightful small-group cooking class just outside Rome! Set in an idyllic countryside location, we enjoyed a hands-on lesson making fresh gluten-free pasta and gnocchi with an engaging chef who was an exceptional teacher—patient, fun, and full of tips. Sipping wine while rolling dough added to the authentic Italian charm. The bonus PDF cookbook download means I can recreate these dishes at home. A must-do for gluten-free foodies—highly recommend!

I booked this cooking class for my family of 3. My son is young, only 5 and had the best time making pasta. Chef Christian is knowledgeable, friendly, engaging, and has a true passion for cooking. I will cherish this memory for a lifetime, and also his cook book! I can’t wait to make fresh authentic Italian food with gluten free ingredients. A true delight. This was such a great experience! Highly recommend taking a class with Christian! Out daughter with celiac had a great time and loved all of the items we made as did our non-celiac son. Stuffed zucchini flowers, 2 types of pasta, and tiramisu. Christian made it such a fun experience for all of us. We're excited to try the recipes at home now too. If you are gluten-free - this is a must do item while in Rome!

This was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Christian was very warm, welcoming, passionate and accommodating. We completed the gluten free course (making 3 types of pasta) as I have coeliac disease and this lasted for around 3.5 hours. There was only one other couple on the course with us at the time. The cooking class room was clean and the surrounding areas were simply stunning. Christian’s English was very good and felt the course was extremely good value for money. We arrived to some beautifully prepared, fresh bruschetta and a glass of preferred wine. We had assumed you would only eat one meal upon finishing the class. However, Christian prepares all 3 types of pasta using different recipes, meaning we got to eat THREE plates full of pasta. Afterwards, Christian offered fresh fruit and an espresso. We enjoyed the atmosphere, Christian took photos, told us stories, talked about the history of different recipes, played music and provided wine throughout. Since the workshop, we have received a complimentary copy of Christian’s own recipe book, too. We would totally recommend this experience to all! Top tip- message Christian directly for a reduced price rather than booking through a third-party site!

This class is amazing. We took the class as a group of 3, 2 parents and a 19 year old daughter. Us parents have no allergies but our daughter is celiac and only eats gluten free. We did the class for her and didn’t expect too much as the gluten free foods we’ve had in the past have been mediocre. We were pleasantly surprised. Everything in the class was delicious! Christian is a talented chef that makes everything look simple. The online cookbook and pictures/video he sends are added bonuses. Christian’s personality and energy also made for positives vibes. All of this,combined with the peaceful setting made for a memorable day! This is a special experience you want to miss out on!
