Guests will prepare classic Roman appetizers like crispy zucchini blossoms stuffed with mozzarella and anchovies, and delicate fried sage leaves. They'll learn how to make two types of gluten-free pasta from scratch—the original Fettuccine Alfredo made with eggs and gluten-free flour, and traditional trofie pasta with homemade pesto, ground fresh in a mortar. Finally, they'll create a full gluten-free tiramisù, entirely from scratch. 5.00This was such a great experience! Highly recommend taking a class with Christian! Out daughter with celiac had a great time and loved all of the items we made as did our non-celiac son. Stuffed zucchini flowers, 2 types of pasta, and tiramisu. Christian made it such a fun experience for all of us. We're excited to try the recipes at home now too. If you are gluten-free - this is a must do item while in Rome!

5.00This was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Christian was very warm, welcoming, passionate and accommodating. We completed the gluten free course (making 3 types of pasta) as I have coeliac disease and this lasted for around 3.5 hours. There was only one other couple on the course with us at the time. The cooking class room was clean and the surrounding areas were simply stunning. Christian’s English was very good and felt the course was extremely good value for money. We arrived to some beautifully prepared, fresh bruschetta and a glass of preferred wine. We had assumed you would only eat one meal upon finishing the class. However, Christian prepares all 3 types of pasta using different recipes, meaning we got to eat THREE plates full of pasta. Afterwards, Christian offered fresh fruit and an espresso. We enjoyed the atmosphere, Christian took photos, told us stories, talked about the history of different recipes, played music and provided wine throughout. Since the workshop, we have received a complimentary copy of Christian’s own recipe book, too. We would totally recommend this experience to all! Top tip- message Christian directly for a reduced price rather than booking through a third-party site!

5.00This class is amazing. We took the class as a group of 3, 2 parents and a 19 year old daughter. Us parents have no allergies but our daughter is celiac and only eats gluten free. We did the class for her and didn’t expect too much as the gluten free foods we’ve had in the past have been mediocre. We were pleasantly surprised. Everything in the class was delicious! Christian is a talented chef that makes everything look simple. The online cookbook and pictures/video he sends are added bonuses. Christian’s personality and energy also made for positives vibes. All of this,combined with the peaceful setting made for a memorable day! This is a special experience you want to miss out on!

5.00We had such a wonderful time at Christian’s class, it really was an unexpectedly memorable experience for our trip to Rome. It was great to learn about the gluten free pasta and gnocchi we were cooking, Christian’s story, and his passion for what he does really tops the experience. Thank you for being a true highlight of our trip, we can’t recommend the experience highly enough!

5.00This was my best experience during my trip to Italy. I am strictly gluten free and wanted to learn GF Italian cooking. I got so much more! Christian is a talented and knowledgeable chef and his passion and love for cooking is obvious. More than that, his hospitality and fun personality made for a relaxed evening of cooking and time just went by so quickly. Whether you are GF or not, an experienced cook or just a beginner, this class is for you. Don’t miss it!

5.00What a fun, special Roman experience! The location is out of the city center but an easy taxi ride, and it gives you a taste of the unparalleled beauty of the countryside. Christian is so energetic and charismatic and an experienced chef. I attended by myself and another couple joined the class as well. We made “Roman pringles,” a zucchini flower/mozzarella/anchovy appetizer, 3 types of pasta, and tiramisu—all gluten free! We also drank delicious wine and tasted some homemade limoncello. Christian showed us around the grounds of the villa, which included a cave like the ones in which the early Christians built catacombs. Not only did he teach us how to cook, but also he taught us more about Italian culture and told stories of cooking with his grandmother’s mother. Oh, and no need to take pictures or videos—Christian took photos and videos throughout the event, which he shared with us after, so we could focus on cooking! He also shared his cookbook with us so that we can try the recipes at home. When we had eaten to our heart’s content, Christian gave us directions to the Church of Saint Sebastian and the Saint Sebastian catacombs which are only about a 10 minute walk away, and there’s a bus stop not too far from the church that can take you back to the city. 10/10 recommend!

5.00My friends and I had a unique gastronomic experience discovering the true flavors of traditional Roman cuisine! With his cooking class, Christian explained the secrets of fresh pasta: strozzapreti and spaghetti alla chitarra! After preparing them all having fun together, we enjoyed them with a wild boar sauce and with a 'great cheese and pepper accompanied by an excellent Italian wine chosen and explained by him x the occasion! Recommended experience to repeat!5 stars!✨

5.00My daughter and I had an absolutely wonderful time with Christian. We learned how to make 2 different types of completely Gluten - free pastas from scratch (and 2 different sauces too). I absolutely loved the pesto sauce and will be making this at home as soon as I return! But our favorite was the tiramisu. What a treat to be able to eat Gluten free tiramisu! It was simple and delicious! Many thanks to Christian for a truly magical night!

5.00On a Saturday midday I attended Christian’s gluten-free pasta course, and it was truly a fantastic experience. With Italian music playing in the background and a glass of wine in hand, we quickly got to work. Step by step, Christian guided us through the art of making pasta, sharing his knowledge with great passion and patience. The course was entertaining, educational, and above all absolutely delicious. All three pasta/gnocchi dishes we prepared were outstanding. I now finally feel confident to make truly tasty gluten-free pasta at home. Thank you, Christian, for this wonderful and inspiring experience!

5.00Went during our week in Rome, just my mom and me, and we had a blast! We learned lots of techniques you can’t get from a cookbook or online video! As a non gluten free person, I could not taste the difference, so would highly recommend for mixed groups of gf and not
