  Pablo was our guide on this great tour of Uxmal and Kabah, two of the sites on the Ruta Puuc (or, Mayan Route). Pablo was very knowledgeable about both classical and contemporary Mayan culture, and did a wonderful job relating how Mayan religious beliefs shaped their response to the arrival of the conquistadors. He provided great insights into the environmental factors reflected in the architecture, cultural, and trade relationships of the Mayan cities of the Puuc (hill country) region. The number of visitors at Uxmal was significantly less than those at the more well-know Chichen Itza--and were even smaller at Kabah. Do carefully read the tour description to understand what is and is not included in the tour price. The additional admission fees that must be paid to the Yucatan state and Mexico federal authorities are significant, particularly for those who are not residents of Mexico. It is a full-day trip from Merida, but very much worth your while.

  It's an excellent way to explore these ruins with an amazing guide who has incredible knowledge. Uxmal and Kabah were fascinating, and the dip in the cenote was also cool.

  We had a wonderful time today learning about the Uxmal and Kabah Mayan Ruins on the Ruta Puc in the Yucatán Peninsula. Our tour guide,Pablo, was engaging and well versed in his cultures history. We also had a very healthy lunch and visited a cenote to cool off. This was an amazing tour and learned so much. A must see!

  Uxmal should not be missed!! This was a great way to get to see the ruins. Allan was an incredible guide and seamlessly spoke English and Spanish during our trip. He was thoughtful, knowledgeable and really considered the groups needs even when others strayed from the group and almost ruined our itinerary. He was very professional and attentive. I opted for Kabah while others went to the chocolate museum and I was not disappointed. The cenote was a nice way to cool after a long day in the sun. Overall and fantastic tour for a great price!

  Uxmal was wonderful—- not the craziness of Chichen Itza w their vendors. Kabah was pretty magnificent. The cenote was small but well worth the trip. Our guide Erwin was knowledgeable and spoke to the group In English and in Spanish fluently. The driver Jorge was cautious and polite.

  Irwin was the perfect guide. Uxmal was everything I hoped for & Kabah was a lovely surprise. The cenote was refreshing and so good to know it's run by a local collective. Highly recommend this trip!!

  A quality excursion very well managed by the guide. Discovery of 2 Mayan sites but also discovery of Mayan culture.

  Tour to Uxmal was excellent! David our guide was the most knowledgeable, kind and enthusiastic tour guide we have ever had. So much information about the Mayan culture!

  I would like you to give more time to see calmly and enjoy Uxmal, because the guide was going very fast and did not give us time to see everything; besides what he talked about was very general about the Maya, but was not specific as to what we were seeing, more story about each of the archaeological sites, in Kabah it was already only 10 minutes and in the end in the cenote it was 20 minutes, I suggest that you give more time, although the return is later
