Lilikoi (passion fruit) Is a famous Hawaiian fruit revered by locals for generations. This is the largest Lilikoi orchard and an ideal spot on the Big Island to stop and take in the Hamakua Coast ocean views and breezes.
Learn about many key Hawaiian crops. Taste the difference of farm fresh juices and tea.
Talk one on one with the owner how a plantation era farm was rehabilitated ongoing plans to flourish for the next generation.
If there is time to visit only one farm, Nakihalani Farm has the diverse flora and fauna to satisfy.
Plenty of spaces to extend your time on the farm if you bring a picnic lunch, or take your tea and let the breezes guide you around the farm for bit on your own.

Hawaiian Lilikoi and Mamaki Tea is the focus at the Nakihalani Farm Tour. Learn about the area history both old and be inspired as you learn the owners story of reclaiming this plantation era property from ruin. You will enjoy walking at a leisurely pace through new fields and orchards of Pineapple, Grapes, Citrus, Avocado, Sugar Cane, Mamaki Tea and take in some of the most diverse and largest custom growing structures for Lilikoi in the Hawaiian Islands. Flowers, herbs and even sheep abound throughout the property. You will finish the tour with a tasting of sweet specialties made with Lilikoi as well as hot/cold Mamaki tea and sugar cane juice. Visitors are welcome to stay longer after the tour. Some food items may be available for purchase for breakfast/lunch please check ahead. Take home famous Lilikoi Syrup, Tea Cakes and Mamaki Tea and more for purchase from our farm.

5.00Very informative about the pros and cons of growing items in Hawaii. We learned a lot about the different fruits and herbs. The tastings after the farm tour were gteat.

5.00I really enjoyed being able to take part in this experience. The host was extremely welcoming and gracious, and I could tell that he took joy in being able to show us around the grounds and talk about his farm. On the tour, I had the privilege of tasting multiple varieties of lilikoi in addition to house made syrup, honey, and pastries made with fruit from his farm.
