Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park is a large park in the city, covering an area of about 120,000 square meters. The trees and lawns within the expansive grounds serve as a place of relaxation for citizens, providing a stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city. During World War II, the location of the current Peace Park was the political and commercial center of the city. For this reason, it was chosen as the target for the atomic bomb.
Atomic Bomb Dome
The Atomic Bomb Dome is one of Hiroshima's most iconic landmarks, serving as a powerful symbol of peace and resilience. Remarkably, despite being directly beneath the explosion's epicenter, the structure of the Industrial Promotion Hall did not collapse. Instead, the ruins and skeletal dome were preserved as a poignant monument to the destructive power of nuclear weapons. The Atomic Bomb Dome is not merely a historical site; it stands as a testament to the strength of the human spirit and a call to action for peace. When visiting, take a moment to reflect on the past and consider the importance of striving for a future free from the threat of nuclear weapons.

This Tour is not worth the amount your paying because beware you need to pay your own transportation which is not included in the package but amount they are charging $180 (usd) per head which is way too expensive and you can't explore all the itinerary because your wasting your time in public transportation. You get private guide but amount your paying it not worth i reccomend to others before booking please check it twice because if you don't like it at that time it's not refundable and this tour company management is very Rude and not supportive

Fantastic day with Masa. We loved everywhere she took us and her very knowledgeable information. We showered her with questions which she was only too pleased to answer. She also booked us in to a lovely Japanese restaurant for lunch months before our tour to ensure we experienced Okonomiyaki style food. The Peace museum and Peace Park are truely not to be missed. Whilst it’s an emotional experience, understanding the history and what was behind the attack was very interesting.

Yushu covered all the points of interest in the itinerary. Due to her we got to taste some traditional Japanese snacks and food also.
