Next, go bar hopping through Hiroshima’s backstreets like a local. Your guide will lead you to carefully selected spots, so even if you’re new to Japanese food, you can relax and enjoy regional dishes unique to Hiroshima.

The tour also features sake tasting, as Hiroshima is known for its excellent breweries. Learn about different sake flavors and enjoy them with authentic local food, with pairing tips from your guide.

Additionally, some stops may not allow substitutions; however, we will make every effort to offer alternatives at other locations throughout the tour.

Since most Japanese restaurants are not fully equipped to offer vegetarian menus, vegetarian options on our tour are limited.

Loved our time with our guide Kaku. Very friendly, warm and kind. Spoke english very well and showed us some delicious places that we would not have found ourselves. Thank you Kaku.

I went on 3 food tours with Magical Trip. One in Tokyo, in Osaka and one in Hiroshima. It's unfortunate that booking with a good company doesn't mean you'll get a good tour guide! Osaka was disappointing as hell but this one in Hiroshima, with Yuji was really really awesome and well done. The food selection was interesting and included places or items that we may not get ourselves (which is what you want in a tour!), the conversations were really interesting and genuine. Our questions were all answered and we were able to discuss everything from history, to daily life to light politics to personal matters (and of course food!). After doing 3 of these tours, I really believe that what made this was special and really 'worth it' was because of our tour guide Yuji. Big thanks and highly recommended!

Yasu was amazing! If you want to have a iconic walk by Hiroshima, you have to choose Yasu!! Also, be careful about the whether and gloves

A fun and unique way to enjoy an evening in Hiroshima! We loved being introduced to okinomiyaki - “Hiroshima soul food”! — and visiting two other bars. Yoko-san was a knowledgeable and welcoming host.

Did the Hiroshima Bar hopping tour last night with Kaku. He was brilliant and took us to 3 great venues. Certainly we wouldn't have found these venues. Was great sharing the evening with Kaku - was very personable and fantastic to chat with. Would highly recommend him and the tour. Very good night out

Yoko was brilliant! We started off with a brilliant okonomiyaki where we got to watch the experienced chef make it 'Hiroshima-style' right in front of us. From there we went to a sushi bar that we would have never found on our own (it was on the 3rd Floor of a building?!), and finally to a sake-shop-by-day-restaurant-by-night which also allowed us to watch the making process and try a bunch of different sake. Really appreciated Yoko's attention to detail and willingness to adapt her plans according to conversations we were having about what we'd like to experience and what we hadn't tried yet. 10/10, highly recommend!

My guide Yuji was so great! We went to multiple restaurants and tried a bunch of delicious food and drinks- he also took me to the illumination lights installation and pointed out several historical spots of significance related to the attack on Hiroshima. We had great conversation and he gave me tips and hidden gems for the rest of my trip- highly recommend!
