I went to the War of the Worlds Experience with my husband and three teenage sons as a treat for my birthday. We had a great time, the combination of light and sound projection, live actors and sets and VR experiences brought the story alive, and included some beautiful effects and some genuinely heart-stopping moments. I thought it was very well-presented. The one thing I thought could have improved it would have been a few more opportunities for active audience participation - sometimes I was rather aware of the mental gap between the actors' sense of urgency and chaos and the reality of a bunch of tourists being shepherded entirely safely and predictably along a route through rooms and along corridors. Adding some simple character information, maybe giving everyone a "costume" hat, and giving us more tasks and problems to solve along the way, would have helped us feel more that we were actively participating in the story. I also wouldn't recommend it for families with children under ten, as it would probably be too scary. But for our family, the experience was great, it fully justified the ticket price, and we all had an amazing time. It has also prompted me to read the book and learn more about HG Wells.

A fantastic afternoon. A must visit for anyone who grew up listening to this! Fab actors and VR experience. Highly recommend.

The idea of using virtual reality is not bad. But it is not yet of very good quality. My opinion is that it is not yet worth the advertised price, that of a good play.

Amazing fun, food, actors, experience and value for money! Not to miss! The atmosphere was amazing, the cast were so talented and it was lovely to get to know our group. Perfect for big or small groups and any age!

A brilliant experience. Staff were friendly and the whole experience was fantastic. Effects were awesome. Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant experience - would go again - only thing that spoiled it a little bit was that the doors opened a bit late, so we had to queue outside, although we arrived at the allotted time - not a big deal, but had to rush our lunch a bit beforehand (food & drinks / cocktails were also very good & reasonable prices) - would have liked a bit more time to take in the atmosphere in 'The Spirit Of Man' - it felt like you were 'there'. Lots to see. Didn't like the 'unisex' loos. Staff & actors were great, enthusiastic & friendly. The 'boat ride' was fantastic, probably the best bit - being blasted by Martians along the river! It was so good that the songs were by the 'originals' (Justin Hayward, & narration by Richard Burton). We left feeling like we had really experienced the Jeff Wayne War of the Worlds! Would recommend, having seen the concert version before, this just added to the 'Ooh Lau......'!

The experience was brilliant! We all loved being part of the action, the actors were brilliant. It is so clever how it is all put together to tell the story. There is a bit of crouching and ducking required, but it all added to the fun.

My son, grandson and I had a fabulous time. The actors were great; the sets were detailed; the VR was extremely immersive. If you know the story and/or are familiar with Jeff Wayne's WOTW, this Immersive Experience will make total sense and be loads of fun. Highly recommend. Would definitely do it again.

We were looking for something different to do in the easter holidays with my two boys 17 and 14 and the 17 years old girlfriend. We booked the standard package for this. It was amazing. Such value for money as it was a 2 hour experience. Every single one of us loved it and still chatting about it over dinner. The cocktails served in the bar before are simply delicious, ok, a little expensive but it is London but the quality was fantastic. Everything from the moment we entered the steam punk style bar to the experience itself was fantastic. Actors we incredible. We did last tour of the day, they must have been exhausted, you wouldn't have known. High recommend. To top the positive experience off, we had problem with a double payment going through and the customer services team couldn't be quicker to respond and sort it out. Money refunded quickly, without any drama and no waiting on emails. All in all a delight! Am very excited to do the gunpowder plot next....

Excellent from start to finish, from the staff greeting us upon entry, to the bar staff and especially the performers that made the experience what is was AMAZING. Thank you for a wonderful couple of hours. Miss this at your own peril 👍👍👍
