5.00Whale watching was something we never did before and Chris was the perfect guide. He handled a mix of people, a couple with young children and then 2 couples. We have the good fortune to see a lot of whales. I trust my day to Chris he has a ton of experience and will guide your whole experience

5.00My husband and I had a doubles kayak next to our fabulous guide, Chris, in his single kayak. He immediately guided us out to where the whales were breaching over and over for the an adventure we will forever cherish. Chris sent us the amazing whale sound videos he was able to capture from his kayak. I am so grateful to have these to share with family and friends. We saw 3 females with calves each being escorted by a male for protection. To witness the female extending her long flipper straight up high toward the sky indicating she was ready to mate was fascinating! We also saw the "comp pod"-- competition pod of males passing by. Chris shared his knowledge of this whale behavior as a seasoned pro having had many years of experience. Sharing his knowledge of what I was experiencing made all the difference in my kayak experience. Following the whale adventure, we paddled to the best turtle beach where we snorkeled with the turtles in the beautiful coral gardens swimming with beautiful fish. I was grateful for the relaxed pace and being given the opportunity to choose the timing and preferred direction of our experience. This was by far this best snorkeling experience I have ever had. I'm so happy we chose Tropical Guides and Outfitters for our Kayak and Whale Tour. To be surrounded by the sounds of whales communicating in close intimate quarters was an experience of a lifetime not to be missed. I'm still there in my mind enjoying all that we were so blessed to see with you. Thank you so much!
Best Maui Kayaking, Whale Watching and Snorkeling Trip Ever

5.00My wife and I had a private tour with Chris, the Proprietor. Chris guided us out to the area where the whales were breaching and the females were exhibiting mating behavior by holding their pectoral flipper straight up in the air. To say it was the experience of a lifetime would be a vast understatement! We then kayaked to an area off Po'olanilani Beach for some snorkeling. It was the best snorkeling experience of my life! We saw so many turtles and fish (see video below). Chris was extremely knowledgeable about the geography, geology and the biology of everything we encountered. He shared this knowledge freely and in a way that we could understand. We paddled a total of five miles on the water. The entire trip was leisurely and unhurried. Outstanding all the way around! 5.00We had a great time going out on the kayaks with Chris. We saw over a half dozen whales with two of them within 20 yards. Chris was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. A must do adventure

5.00This kayak whale-watching tour was spectacular. Our two guides were awesome and had a lot of patience getting a couple of us back in the kayak after falling out a couple of times. They were highly energetic and very knowledgeable of the area and whales. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat!!
