ENTRANCE: As it is mandatory in Auschwitz Birkenau museum to confirm your personal details, you are required to take with you passport or ID to be presented at the entrance to museum. Please do not forget it, otherwise you may be not allowed to enter museum.

VISIT: While in the camps, visitors are required to behave appropriately and respectfully.

VISIT: Visitors are generally allowed to take pictures with a few, clearly indicated exceptions.

VISIT: A visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau can prove traumatic, therefore we recommend that visitors were at least 13 years old.

LUGGAGE: The maximum size of your carry-on can not exceed the following dimensions: 30 x 20 x 10 cm. You can leave your larger luggage in the car.

DEPARTURE: Your pickup time might be changed and will be between 5:00 AM - 01:00 PM but we usually adjust it by only 30-60 minutes (sometimes a more significant change is necessary)

DEPARTURE: If the above change is necessary then the start time will be different than the one presented on your voucher. In such case you will be informed via email and/or What's App 12-24 hours before the amended start time

MEALS: Lunch is not included. There's no time for a regular meal between visits to Auschwitz and Birkenau, so bring a snack. A grocery shop, snack bar, and restaurant are NOT available on-site

So Disappointed. Wanted to visit Auschwitz for a long time. Signed up for the 7AM tour pickup. The night before I got an email saying time was changed to 6 AM. Had I not checked my mail, we would have missed it. Woke up very early to get to pickup point. Ride was fine and they showed a documentary which was good. Little confusing when we got there but fine. The big disappointment was our tour guide. She was horrible. Sorry I did not get her name but she was speaking so quietly that even with the headset up, it was difficult to hear her. (Older woman with accent) She clearly didn’t want to be there and wanted to get through the tour as quickly as possible. Wanted to just walk by significant parts. We walked past a field with a memorial that other groups were stopped at. Had to ask her what it was-memorial where ashes were spread. Didn’t provide much information other than how many died. She seemed annoyed if you asked her a question. She ruined the whole experience.

Somewhat disorganized from the get-go. Never knew what was next. Our guide at the camps was clearly very knowledgeable but had poor command of English. Difficult at times to understand her. She appeared to just go through the motions. Headphones broke in and out constantly making it difficult to follow her

The pickup at the hotel was on time. Bus to Auschwitz was comfortable. Driver was very personable and knowledgeable. The guide at the sight was professional and accessible. The tour required a lot of walking over uneven terrain so be prepared. Old town tour at the end of the trip doesn’t really happen. There is no time at the end and the bus cannot enter old town so you will have a short walk to your hotel in old town at the conclusion. We were on the afternoon excursion so we can’t say what happens on the morning excursion. It makes for a very long day but well worth the trip. The museum and site are emotionally devasting. What the victims endured was unimaginably evil.

Our guide was wonderful. She shared so much history of the place and events surrounding the war and how people came to be in Auschwitz. Also heartbreaking what atrocities took place. A history that should never be forgotten
