It's the perfect all day long experience to visit historical places. We found a lot of traffic jam during the way but everything has been accommodated in the best way as possible allowing to successfully complete the whole visit!

A long day and a great insight into such a devastating history. We were so pleased we booked the tour including the salt mines, as long a day as it was it just finished on a much lighter note. We had great guides on each section very knowledgable, relatable, sensitive and clear. We did run into some issues due to weather, timings and size of the groups making it harder to hear during the birkenau section of the trip. The only few gripes were the coach is particularly tight and therefore not the comfiest, we felt there should have been flexibility around the fact we had torrential rain, to maybe hold off the outdoor section of the tour in birkenau, or at the very least provided a poncho, on the basis we then had a 20 minute break, followed by a 30 minute break on arrival to the salt mines. We was unsure around availability for food during the trip so went with the lunch option, which we didn’t particularly like, so got food on site instead. The end of the salt mine tour saw our group waiting without communication and unsure how to return for our coach pick up, so the communication could have been better. However aside from the areas of improvement all in all it was a very interesting day, that needed to be experienced when visiting krakow.

Amazing experience, guides were great and full of knowledge and drivers were also really good. If you come to Poland you need to do this.

The salt mines and Auschwitz-Birkenau are a must see when visiting Krakow. It is a very long day to go to both sites and also tons of walking so be prepared. I would have probably split those places over two different days. The tour bus seats were extremely cramped if you are over 5' ft 4."
