Not enough time to visit all of Krakow’s must-see places? On this tour, you'll visit two of Poland's most important UNESCO World Heritage sites Auschwitz-Birkenau and Wieliczka Salt Mine — in one day. Your day will start early, but this way you will manage to visit Auschwitz-Birkenau, the former Nazi concentration camp, and explore the Mine, and be back in Krakow by dinner time.

Please note that the maximum size of bags and backpacks allowed to carry on the Museum grounds is 30 x 20 x 10 cm. You can always leave your belongings inside the bus which will be parked nearby.
Please note that this tour is not available on: 25th of December, 1st of January, Easter Sunday and March of the Living Day.
Please note that to reach the first level of the mine (64 meters underground), You have to descent a wooden stairway which has 378 stairs. There are around 800 steps on the whole route in the Salt mine. After the tour, You will be taken up to the surface with a lift.
Temperature in the Salt Mine is approximately 14 degrees C (57 degrees F), please wear warm clothes and comfortable shoes.

Please note that admission tickets to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum are personalized. Each participant is required to provide their full name as it appears on their official ID during the booking process. Any errors in names or failure to provide this information at least 24 hours before the tour may result in denied entry to the museum.

The pickups are provided between 6:00 and 7:30 depending on your accommodation and our schedules. The pickup time is always confirmed by text and email the day before the tour. The tour is operated in a group of a maximum of 30 people. During the trip, you will watch a documentary movie about the history of the Nazi concentration camps.
Panstwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau
Firstly, You will be taken to Auschwitz I, where you will join an English tour – provided by the museum’s guide – for about 2 hours. After that, we will transfer you to Auschwitz II-Birkenau, about 2 km away. You will spend there about one hour with the same guide. After Camp Auschwitz II-Birkenau, you will have time to eat our freshly prepared lunchboxes (which include chicken pasta salad, sandwich, sweet bar, fruit, and water). We also provide vegetarian, vegan, gluten, and dairy-free options. Please add a remark in your booking if you have any special requirements. Please note that the tickets are titular. Make sure the information in the booking is correct. Change of this data is possible for an additional fee paid to the supplier.

5.00Reading some of the other reviews, I feel so grateful that I didn’t experience any of the bad/negative experience. The tour was well organised. Dominic our driver was a great driver, kind and patient. I actually didn’t realise that lunch was included so that was a nice surprise for me (no complain there, it’s like getting free food for me lol). Yes, there was a lot of walking but I think that was expected and warned. The tour was fast paced in Auschwitz and Birkenau but that was fine for me, I think it was enough time for me to get educated and reflecting everything horrible that happened there 💔 The salt mine tour was interesting - was it a bit boring? Yes, but maybe that’s just me and my interest. I still found it interesting to be down below that deep, plus we didn’t need to climb the stairs so praise God! Bonus we got to see the beautiful church down there, it was magnificent!! I did enjoy learning some of the facts there. Overall, it was a great tour. Well timed, well organised, the tour operator was very responsive and excellent in communicating and letting us know what time we would get picked up the day before. Really recommended!

5.00Long day but well worth it. The company communicated every step of the way and multiple of times. Auschwitz was very somber but well communicated. Salt mine was fascinating. Our driver was great.

5.00Went to Wieliczka Salt Mine and Auschwitz/Birkenau this week. Both trips were very interesting ( and sad for the second trip ) but I was happy that I went. Both trips were organised by Hello Cracow and would highly recommend this company. Sent me WhatsApp messages keeping me up to date and asking if anything else wanted/needed. Well done to them 👍

5.00Very moving experience at Auschwitz and Birkenau. Michel our guide was brilliant. He has so much knowledge delivered with such compassion. Michel was our bus driver too. Exceptional service from him and Mr Shuttle. Early pick up was essential at 6am and appreciated. The lunch was excellent and the salt mines in the afternoon were a good way to end the day. Did two tours with Mr Shuttle went to Zakopane too. Can’t rate Mr Shuttle enough. Great guides. Small groups.

5.00The tour was and guides were amazing a very heart wrenching experience a definite must, everyone should have the chance to visit, only downside not enough time for toilet stop very rushed 10 mins female toilets as usual always the longest queue I know there’s strict timing issues but 20 mins would be better the guides get very cross if over 10 mins !!!

2.00Auschwitz really is a must see and although at times it can be harrowing and distressing. I’m so glad I witnessed it. The salt mines were a little bland. But the worst part of the day was that no clear pick up point had been given by the coach driver and you exit the salt mines 10 minutes away from where he has parked. Consequently we got lost. He drove off without us taking our passports with him. The tour company were useless and we were effectively stranded in Krakaw with no passports and no clear way of getting back to our hotel. If you do see auschwitz don’t do it with this company!
