All of our members were born and raised in Japan, so we have an in-depth understanding of the country. This allows us to share the hidden charms of Japan that only locals know. In addition, we offer free Japanese language support in case of emergencies. We only assign highly experienced professional drivers.
In recent years, there has been a sharp increase in accidents and incidents involving unlicensed or inexperienced drivers who are not from Japan at other companies. Our strength lies in providing the highest level of safety and reliability through our Japanese drivers and Japanese guides.
In addition to hands-on activities such as ninja training and chopstick-making, our strong local connections grant access to exclusive experiences — including invitations-only Ochaya and private geisha or maiko performances.

Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine
Fushimi Inari Taisha is one of Kyoto’s most iconic landmarks, best known for the breathtaking Senbon Torii, or “thousands of torii gates,” that form bright red tunnels winding through the forested slopes of Mount Inari. Dedicated to Inari, the Shinto deity of rice, prosperity, and good fortune, the shrine has long been a place of deep cultural and spiritual significance. Visitors can stroll beneath the endless rows of gates, discover smaller shrines along the paths, and admire fox statues, believed to be Inari’s messengers. Arashiyama

5.00We booked a 5-day private car (green plated) and tour covering Kanazawa, Shirakawa-go, and Kyoto, and it was easily one of the best decisions of our Japan trip with Yama and his team. From the very beginning, everything was smooth and well organized. Traveling as a group, the private car made a huge difference. No rushing for trains, no struggling with luggage, and the itinerary flowed comfortably at our own pace. The vehicle was clean, spacious, and perfect for long drives between cities. Kanazawa was a wonderful start, with its historic districts, beautiful gardens, and relaxed atmosphere. Our guide thoughtfully planned the route so we could enjoy the highlights without feeling overwhelmed. The visit to Shirakawa-go was unforgettable. Seeing the traditional gassho-zukuri houses surrounded by nature felt like stepping into a postcard. The timing was well managed, allowing us to explore, take photos, and enjoy lunch without crowds or stress. Kyoto was the perfect finale. Despite it being a busy city, the private car allowed us to move efficiently between temples, shrines, and cultural areas. The itinerary was flexible and tailored to our interests, which made the experience feel personal rather than rushed. Throughout the four days, our driver and guide were professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. They shared helpful insights about Japanese culture, history, and local tips, and were always attentive to our needs. Their experience truly elevated the trip and made everything feel easy and enjoyable. Overall, this 4-day private tour was seamless, comfortable, safe and thoughtfully curated. 5.00They are amazing! Their tour is great! Our guide,was very kind, friendly and experienced! He told us so much about unique Japanese culture that only the locals know. He also took us to a souvenir shop where guidance is available only in Japanese, and thanks to him we were able to buy cool jackets that can only be found in Japan, as well as Japan-exclusive Shohei Otani goods. You should definitely book them!

5.00They took us to restaurants where you can only order in Japanese, and our guide, Hibiki, was incredible. He explained the menu, helped us order, and even guided us through the payment process. They were honestly the best — you should definitely book with them!

5.00A wonderful tour across many of the Kyoto must-see stops! We went to Fushimi Inari Taisha, Kinkakuji Temple, Ginkakuji, and did lots of shopping at Nishiki Market. Yama gave some of the history at each location and helped track down specific stores so I could finalize my souvenir shopping. It was a wonderful day, and Yama also helped stop and take pictures of me at the perfect locations.
We got to see the entire Kyoto area!

5.00This was a phenomenal tour that we will never forget! Yama showed us around to all the most well known temples in the Nara/Kyoto area. My daughter enjoyed seeing the deer at Nara the most. Not only was he a great tour guide, but he was also a lot of fun to hang out with for the day. He really cared that we had the best experience for our tour and provided recommendations for the rest of our trip. I would highly recommend this tour.

5.00I booked this tour because I saw the photos of the maiko. I’m from Japan, so I know how rare and difficult it is to see a real maiko. Even for Japanese people, seeing an authentic maiko is extremely hard. This company has an official partnership with real maiko, which is something that normally should be impossible. There is no doubt that they are the only company in the world offering this. Even for me as a Japanese person, this became a once-in-a-lifetime memory. Thank you so much.

5.00Booked this for our anniversary trip. The guide introduced us to limited-time events and locations that only locals know about so it felt like we saw a different side of Kyoto than most tourists. Since the leaves are beautiful at this time of year, they brought us to great spots for fall foliage as well as a special autumn lights event. The service was super friendly and attentive, definitely worth the money. Highly recommended if you’re looking to get off the beaten track!!

5.00This was one of the most amazing trips of my life! The tour was great. The tour guide (Yamato) was very knowledgeable and it was super helpful to hear all about the Japanese culture, the area, and the history from a local. They also spoke great English and they were super friendly. All our conversations were also super friendly with the operator as well and they were very accommodating. I would highly recommend that anyone visiting uses this tour guide as it provided a much better insight into Japan than I ever could have gotten alone.
