Quick but fun cooking class (beginner level)! Made pasta and tiramisu from scratch. Well run and our instructor Lori was wonderful. I believe there were about 12-14 people in our class. Enjoyed meeting other travelers and had a fun break from sightseeing. You get to eat your pasta and tiramisu at the end. Would have liked to learn to how to make the different sauces but not part of this class.

今日はドライブがてら、蕎麦打ちを教えていただいた先生のお店へ。 霧島神宮のすぐ近く、深い緑に包まれた静かで美しいロケーション。そこにいるだけで心が整うような、素敵なお店です。 🥢 蕎麦を多角的に楽しむ「二味そば」 今回は、蕎麦そのものの魅力を存分に味わいたくて「二味そば」を注文しました。 まずは「かけそば」で 温かいお出汁と共に、蕎麦の香りがふわっと立ち上がる一杯。体の中からじんわり温まります。 次に「もりそば」で キリッと冷えた蕎麦を。コシの強さと、喉ごしの良さ。蕎麦本来の力強さをダイレクトに感じられます。 温・冷で全く異なる表情を見せる蕎麦。 この味わい方の違いを一度に堪能できるので、蕎麦好きの方にはぜひおすすめしたい贅沢な楽しみ方です。 Heading out for a scenic drive to visit the shop of the master who taught me the art of Soba-making. Located right near Kirishima Jingu Shrine, the shop is a peaceful sanctuary nestled in lush greenery. Just being there makes me feel centered. 🥢 Exploring Soba through "Ni-mi Soba" (Two-flavor Soba) I ordered the "Ni-mi Soba" to fully immerse myself in the true essence of the noodles. First, the "Kake-soba" (Warm). The aroma of the Soba rises gently with the warm broth, warming you from the inside out. Next, the "Mori-soba" (Chilled). These cold-rinsed noodles have an incredible firmness and a smooth finish. You can truly taste the robust, raw power of the buckwheat. It’s fascinating how Soba shows two completely different faces depending on the temperature. Being able to enjoy both styles in one sitting is a luxurious treat I highly recommend to any Soba lover!

The pasta and tiramisu class was fantastic. Chef Mimi was wonderful and made it so much fun! I would love to take another class with her! Such a memorable experience with my family and the food was delicious!!

It was a little difficult to identify the restaurant where the lesson was held, but we’ll worth the effort. Our young female chef was enthusiastic and passionate about sharing her craft! She did an excellent job of explaining, demonstrating and engaging the group in all aspects of the lesson. Ending the class by feasting on our own fettuccine, ravioli and tiramisu with our classmates was a treat! Well worth the time and money!

This experience stars by making tiramisu. Then the pasta. Then eating it all with wine and coffee or limoncello. Furio was kind and patient as I have an allergy. He ensured I was safe and delicious.

We had the best time! Mattia was fantastic. He was funny and very knowledgeable. He made the class so much fun. It was our favorite activity in Rome that will leave us with the best memories. Highly recommend!

The food was good and the instructor was clear. However, the tables are very low. I'm 5'7" and had to hunch over the entire class. Taller people struggled even more. Saw a cockroach on my way back from the bathroom.
