The guide was good and I had no issue at all with the itinerary and the service that was provided. Lepuyang temple only became popular in the last 5 years or so because of insta/social media. Before that, nobody cared. The "gates of heaven" is a structure that available all over Bali because it represents the mountain. and you don't need to go here and wait in line for 2-3 hours to take a faked mirror reflection picture. Unless your hotel/resort is close to the temple, I would not recommend wasting your day here. Plenty of other places in Bali to explore.
Enjoy the picture not the experience.

The place is beautiful The picture is gorgeous The experience was best average. 2.5 hours from Sanur 2.5 hours wait to take pictures and that was fast because a person gave us his spot 50 tickets ahead of us. Touristic!

No use going so far for just this…can skip…huge waiting and queues and just for 1 photo so not worth the effort and stress even in off season

Well worth a visit. It is stunning even if the weather is cloudy. The views are amazing but you can wait a while for your photos to be taken. Go early or later in the afternoon to avoid queues.

The guide/driver was soo good ….it went really well ….he was supportive!!! Starting at 4 in Mrng helps ….the early mrng view is worth it !!! Baali is very beautiful!!🙂

It's a really stunning view. The wait time is long but it's well organized, it actually is like a mini show watching the creative poses of people. Travel time from Ubud is quite a while. Make the time for this place, be prepared to wait, I wouldn't suggest plans for after. Mr Moyo our guide was an excellent host. He's very insightful, and patient and assisted with organizing everything for us.

Our driver Kadek was excellent, pushed our pram up the hill at the temple as my leg isn't strong enough (broke bones in 2 places in lower left leg, Plate holding it together) so he did all the work for me, his knowledge was superb and the Temple is exquisitely Chantique.

We had a local private driver named Nyoman who accompanied us the entire journey. He was very kind and very attentive. He already warned us that to take the photos at the temple we would have to wait around 2 hours since there is a long line but it was worth it. There really isn't a lake, it's an optical effect. After the temple he took us to a restaurant so we could eat something before continuing with the journey. Thanks for everything! :)

A long wait, approx 3 hrs to get a few seconds picture. But the pictures are worth the wait. This place is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. Our guide, Wayan Suka, was very helpful, kind, prompt, and professional. I have problems with mobility, and he ensured I got up and down the hill safely. He was always ready with the vehicle and got us promptly. He sat with us during the long wait and took pictures for us.

Worth the wait, as a insta famous photo there is a wait of almost an hour depending the time but the way the guy does your photo and clothing is worth it. Please don't be tight when giving tips.
