First of all, the museum is free to enter. Upon arrival, you can download the audio guide for $7.99 by scanning the QR code located along the museum walls. The audio guide company charged $13 for only allowing us to listen to a few attractions, and most of the ones we were interested in had no audio guide, plus the WiFi was terrible. We had to use our phones, but we didn't have headphones, so we had to hold the phone to our ears. It was hard to hear because it was loud. Meeting the staff at the meeting point was weird. We arrived 15 minutes early and couldn't find the guide. They called us 5 minutes before the meeting time and said the guide couldn't see us. It turns out the guide was sitting on a bench across from us, but wasn’t wearing the polo shirt they said they would be wearing — like the one in the picture they emailed us. The guides were pleasant, but there was no tour — just walking us to the main hall, outside the reading room, and pointing out where the bathroom and entrances to different parts of the museum were located. We could have figured that out on our own. This whole booking is unnecessary and a complete waste of money. Just book your visit time on the museum’s website — it's free.

I meet the guides Eri and her colleagues on time. Since the museum is too large we couldn’t visit all of the exhibits. The guides provide a brief explanation on the museum visit strategy. What is the highlight items and how to use the audio guide app. I have a great day, thank you very much!

Really not worth the money. So sorry we didn’t just get an audio tour there. Aviator just brought us in, gave a few facts to us and left us after 10 mins.
The British Museum was phenomenal but don't visit on a weekend. It is way too crowded and young children ruin the visit

Way too crowded on the weekend. I picked a bad day to visit I have no idea why parents with children under 12 visit. They are way too young to appreciate it and they ruin it for other guests

Beautiful building with amazing architecture!! The exhibits are so well displayed and abundant! Easy to get lost but the map really helps focus everything! Loved the Reading Room!! Wanted to camp out in a chair in the reading room to just peruse all of the info available there! Very unique and beautiful museum!! Will definitely return here in next trip to London!

Hot as hell! Air conditioning would be nice.🔥 Lovely museum but insanely hot and humid. Now the British part was air conditioned, just do better and do the whole building.
