We are locals that speak english, visit Xochimilco on a traditional gondola tour with food and unlimited drinks. Listen to a guided explanation, taste delicious Mexican meals on an island, take unlimited pictures and party during a cocktail workshop, duration 150 minutes all inclusive guided tour.

Age restriction: We only serve alcoholic beverages to travelers over 21 years of age. Travelers under 21 years of age will be served non-alcoholic beverages. The tour itinerary will respect the choice of guests over 21 years of age who do not like to drink alcoholic beverages.

In the event of force majeure (due to congested canals and traffic), it may be impossible to reach the island and try pulque, especially on weekend afternoons. But don't worry, the party won't stop, our team will be prepared with typical regional food.

Optional: we could visit the Axolotl Sanctuary to see the Mexican Axolotl, with an extra cost.

All guests are guaranteed a chair on the boat, boat chairs are the same size for all guests, our staff will assist guests with wheelchairs or babies to get on and off the boat.

Xochimilco

I'm Edgar and my friend María locals to Xochimilco. Lets board the boat called trajinera and drink margarita, tequila, mezcal, pulque y michelda (workshop), play lottery or Mexican bingo. At the end of the Mexican lottery game I will take you to have breakfast on an island called "chinampa", a place built by my ancestors in the Xochimilco lagoon. Menu of mexican tacos, I also provide vegetarian menu. We drink plain water or mango juice for breakfast. At the end of breakfast I will provide you with tequila, pulque, margarita, mezcal and we will make your own michelada in our workshop with beer and chamoy tamarind. We will dance to the rhythm of Mexican music, I will explain the history of the place and we will play more Mexican games. Before finishing the tour I am going to give you a sample of the most important typical Mexican candies and we will return you to the initial meeting point.

We had a great time on our boat tour of Xochilmico. Luis and Valentina were excellent hosts, giving us great insight along the canals while also providing endless entertainment. The games were a great way to break the ice, and the never ending tequila helped unlock conversation and laughs all around. Truthfully, we had low expectations for this tour but it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you to our sweet guides, you truly made our trip to Mexico City a memorable one! And thank you for fulfilling my dream of seeing the Axolotls! Till’ next time..

This was the best thing about our trip. We had so much fun with Omar and Diego, we played games and had drinks and snacks and genuinely enjoyed our evening. Definitely recommend.

We had a great time on the Xochimilco canal boat ride. Our guide, Des was very friendly, energetic, and shared interesting facts about the area. The tour included snacks, drinks, games, and food. It was my first time trying pulque, and we also learned how to make micheladas. We stopped at the Chinampas, which was a nice break. Overall, it was a fun experience and I would definitely recommend Des as a tour guide.

Booked this for family and friends visiting CDMX for the first time. Totally worth it. The event listing description doesn’t do it justice. Hugo our guide was incredible! He really made sure we were in the right mindset. 2 couples joined our boat, but within a few minutes we felt like old pals. I think our guide really made sure that we all felt comfortable and like one group. I haven’t laughed so hard and so much during a guided tour in a very long time. Did the tequila have something to do with it? Maybe. Was I surrounded by fun people, yes. But without a great guide and a beautiful backdrop, I doubt it would’ve been as fun. This was the highlight of my vacation (and I was there for Bad Bunny). It will be a memory I cherish for the rest of my life.

This cruise offered a great time. The crew was amiable, and my fellow passengers were a boatload of fun. I wish there was more historical and cultural information about the canal and boat.

We had a great experience with Desire, she was fun, lively and engaging. I went on this excursion with my husband and my parents and we all had a great time. Food was good, drinks were great. My dad ended up playing one of the games and having the time of his life. Would highly recommend!!!
