The Hakone Open-Air Museum
The Hakone Open-Air Museum is a unique and captivating art space that blends stunning modern sculpture with the natural beauty of the Hakone mountains. As Japan's first open-air museum, it features a sprawling 70,000-square-meter park where visitors can wander through a collection of over 100 masterpieces by renowned sculptors, including Henry Moore and Rodin. The art is strategically placed to interact with the landscape, creating a new experience with every season. Beyond the outdoor exhibits, the museum includes several indoor galleries, most notably the Picasso Pavilion, which houses an extensive collection of works by the artist, including paintings, ceramics, and sculptures. The museum also offers interactive art installations for children and a natural hot spring footbath, allowing visitors to rest and rejuvenate while enjoying the scenery. This tour does not actually go to Mt. Fuji, just to places where you can see it. We should have reviewed the itinerary more closely. The guide provoded very little information about anything we visited. The experience was disappointing.

It's everything packed in a 5 hour tour. It was perfect. Our driver Arsalan was amazing. He shared the history and was pleasant to talk to. It was a pleasure riding with him.

Wonderful experience with Babar as our driver and tour guide. Would definitely recommend it to others as Babar is very familiar with the traffic conditions and led us avoiding the crowds as well as great suggestions on the places to visit.

Shabeer was amazing. Absolutely amazing. Best tour guide we have had in probably 20 years. Funny, attentive, flexible. This guy knows everything about Tokyo and even the other cities in Japan. He gave us a lot of tips. My family was so sorry we didn’t have him for the first two days of our visit to Japan. They wanted him with us for the rest of our trip. He’s the best.

Wonderful tour. Saeed was prompt to pick us up and shared a lot of interesting facts and information while we toured the sites. Mount Fuji did not disappoint. It is worth while leaving at 6 am to get the best views of it. Definitely recommend the tour and Saaed.
