Chureito Pagoda
The Chureito Pagoda (忠霊塔, Chūreitō) is a five storied pagoda on the mountainside overlooking Fujiyoshida City and Mount Fuji off in the distance. The pagoda is part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine and was built as a peace memorial in 1963 nearly 400 steps up the mountain from the shrine's main buildings.

4.00Sam was our driver and guide. He picked us up at our AirBnb and quickly drove us to each spot on the list. Be advised going to the stations on Mt. Fuji is not included on the tour. You’ll have to pay an additional 2100 Yen. Got to see lots of cool places that we would not have been accessible via train during our trip to Tokyo. Thank you very much.
