Nairobi National Park
Nairobi National Park is a national park in Kenya that was established in 1946 about 7 km south of Nairobi. It is fenced on three sides, whereas the open southern boundary allows migrating wildlife to move between the park and the adjacent Kitengela plains. Herbivores gather in the park during the dry season. The park have the big Four and it’s the only park within the city with wildlife

4.00Had a really nice game drive with Chris who did everything to make me see as much as possible. I would advise to book online through the website and not by a person who last minute link you up with the company, as you dont get the details. I ended up paying approximately 30 USD more than agreed as details was not specified over the call. Unfortunately I missed my sunset drink on my last night due to driver and friend talking and therefore missed the exit two times to the hotel. I have had better game drives, but guess this could also be worse.

5.00I had a fantastic safari in Nairobi National Park with Peter as my guide. His deep knowledge, warm personality, and remarkable eye for wildlife made the experience unforgettable. Thanks to him, we saw four magnificent lions along with many other animals, each sighting enriched by his insight and enthusiasm. Peter truly elevates a safari. I would highly recommended!

5.00We had a great experience in Nairobi National park. We got picked up at 05.30 and was by the park gate just before 06.00. The park opens at that time so we were first into the park. Our guide Chris was very friendly and took us to many places in the park. We even spotted three cheetahs and also Lions thanks to Chris’s quick change of route when he heard there we cats spotted at some place. We were in the park between 06.00 and 10.00, which felt just perfect for us. I can really recommend booking this trip.
If you are short on time in Kenya…book this tour!

5.00I only had 2 days in Kenya so this half day was perfect for me. I booked the tour on Viator last minute and glad I did! My driver Chris was right on time (actually 15 mins early thank you) at picking me up from my hotel at 0600 and I had the landcruiser jeep to myself which was awesome. The park was about a 30 min drive away and when we got there it was a bit of a delay getting in due to the line up of other tours ( and it was a Saturday). The entry fee was 83 USD all in and they waste time trying to get you to first pay via their ecitizen website and when that doesn’t work they will finally get the hand held POS machine and swipe your card with no issues——I don’t know why they don’t just do that from the beginning, could’ve saved us like 20 mins. THEY DO NOT TAKE CASH. always have a photo of your passport biopage. Also, make sure you don’t pay anything extra other than your entry fee to the park for 83 USD. The tour itself was fantastic and the full 4-5 hours as advertised. Chris is a great driver and he was always communicating with other drivers to see if anyone spots the big cats etc..we saw lionesses hunt a zebra and it was so cool!! Also saw black and white rhinos and many other animals. I believe the park allows in way too many tour cars because when 50 jeeps gather around to try and see an animal….good luck with the traffic…it’s a mess. Overall it was great and I’m happy with the tour and would book with them again. I was dropped off at my hotel at noon. If you want to add on Giraffe Center or sheldrick elephant sanctuary, I would 10000% recommend it if you have time. (I had done them on previous tours and they are both a must see). Thank you Chris!

5.00After a slow start due to delays out of his control, my driver welcomed me to Nairobi National Park and then proceeded to take me on a tour. I was able to see hippopotamus, lions, gazelles, rhino, zebras, giraffes, and a cheetah (even saw a rare baby cheetah). In seeing each animal I was able to tell the driver when I wanted to move on. The operator then followed up with me afterwards to ensure I had a good experience. This operator provides good value and can be trusted. Exactly what you want.

1.00Extremely disappointed. Guide and driver 30 mins late. No apology. 40 mins extended wait at gate entrance because driver did not want to / could not pay vehicle entry. Guide disappeared. Driver tried to get us to pay for the vehicle and his ticket when it is included in the substantial base price. Kenya Wildlife then forcibly charged $80 per person despite high court ruling that they cannot do so. Should be $43 (which they charged some visitors but not us). Driver of no help whatsoever. Would not recommend at all.

5.00We had safari with business friends and also hosted breakfast at the park. Peter and his team did excellent service, Game drive was amazing. He didn't finish untill we find last big 4 lion. And we saw everything.
