5.00Radius Tours provided an outstanding day trip to Neuschwanstein Castle, made truly memorable by our guide, Jake. His perfect blend of professionalism, humor, and extensive knowledge of Bavarian history kept our group entertained and informed throughout the day. Jake’s stories about King Ludwig II’s tragic reign and final days were particularly fascinating and added a human element to the incredible castle. Be aware that the final approach to the castle involves a substantial uphill walk, so comfortable shoes are a must. However, the payoff is absolutely worth the effort. For a seamless and engaging trip to one of Bavaria’s most iconic landmarks, I highly recommend Radius Tours and especially a tour led by Jake.

5.00Amazing tour! Worth every penny, made especially wonderful with our guide, Lana! She was everything! Funny, knowledgeable, caring, and supportive of any specific needs. We loved chatting with her. For someone who isn’t a fan of public tours, this was exceptional! Thank you for the amazing day!
Price unfortunately a bit too expensive for what is on offer, especially since castle ticket is exclusive, quite large group size

5.00Mark and Thomas were amazing, informative and friendly tour guides. They both spoke with such admiration, fascination and respect for the castle and its story, but also Ludwig II’s legacy and story. I highly recommend this experience, and if you are lucky enough to be guided by these guys, the experience will be at its best!

3.00It's very expensive to get whizzed around a handful of rooms with an audio guide for half an hour. The queueing system may work for the castle but it doesn't really work for people, many of whom were forced to sit out in the sun with no available shade for a great length of time before they could go beyond the ticket gate. The castle could do with a seating/sheltered area for people to wait. If you're not interested in the rooms (which are beautiful) then you can see the castle from outside from a variety of angles, without paying anything. Make sure to go to Marienbrücke (Mary's Bridge) for one of the best views. It's worth getting the bus up to the castle unless you have quite a bit of free time and are very fit - it's long and steep. Buying a return ticket for the bus is cheaper than buying two singles. The small shops (that serve food) next to the castle were only taking cash when we were there, so it might be wise to have some on you if you're wanting to pick up souvenirs or drinks/food. There is of course a shop and café in the castle itself and they all take card payments.

5.00Our guide, Lana, was an absolute delight. She did her best to keep us safe and engaged. The trip was long but worthwhile. The castle was a great experience overall. Minor issue was the short time for lunch due to train delays.

4.00We went to Fussen by train and to castle by bus. From Marienbridge the view was stunning and castle itself is very beautiful but guided tour inside is only 30 minutes and that’s a bit disappointing. Luckily we had a wonderful guide Charly who was very knowledgeable and tell the history of King Ludwig II and his castle.
