5.00This was my first trip to Munich and I wanted to learn about it's history, specifically about the rise of the Nazis. The Radius Tour was great and gave me a good overview. Our guide was a German/American dual citizen whose great- and grandfathers had history with the Nazi Party. It was very interesting to hear history from him and he was insightful when answering my questions. We walked all over Munich and saw buildings used by the Nazis. The buildings have been repurposed instead of being torn down. But all swastikas have been removed. It was December and the city was crowded with tourists and Christmas Markets that we had to maneuver around. Not bad, but the Marienplatz was packed.

5.00Dan was a fascinating and highly knowledgeable guide. He blended the role Munich played in the rise of the 3rd Reich with his own family history. Amazing tour, would recommend!

5.00Today was the 3rd time I have done this tour, first time 2019, then around 2023 and now today. Today’s was the BEST tour of them all. Our guide was Birgit. Birgit made the tour come to life as her grandparents lived in Munich during the rise of the Nazi party, and added personal stories to the tour. Absolutely brilliant! Thank you so much. We could all see the pain some of the stories held for you. Totally reccomend the tour. Dress accordingly for the weather, and wear comfy shoes. Recommend visiting Dacha camp also. Take the s2 train from Munich to Dacha barnhoff, then the 726 bus (on the rail ticket) to the camp.

5.00Had a great tour with Iain as our guide. He did a great job not only covering the city’s history of the Third Reich, but also of Bavaria and how European history tied into the events. Very interesting and would highly recommend to someone visiting the city.
