  I would like to start by saying the trip involves a lot of travel to get from where you start to where you’re going and back. But the company makes it so easy that it’s almost like they hold your hand and take you to the next location and step. Nothing was confusing and everything was very smooth. I will say to make sure you have extra cash with you as most of the local businesses that sell snacks and food on the coast are only cash based businesses. You won’t need more than 100,000 rupiah per person. My friends and I had a ball! Even though we didn’t see the manta rays this trip we saw so many fish and coral and were plenty happy with our snorkeling adventure . The tour afterward with Wayan was also excellent. He took us to a delicious lunch and then around the island to see some picturesque views… Even though the rain got us a little bit we wouldn’t change a thing. I loved it. To top it off we somehow lucked out with the most fun party boat ferry back to Sanur. He danced and partied like it was our last day on earth and that is a core memory for me for sure!!

  Had an amazing day. Beautiful snorkelling spots. Our driver/tour guide was absolutely amazing, showed us around all the sights and took photos and told us the history. Overall an amazing day!!

  Beautiful island and the most colorful corals I've seen. Agus was a great guide! Great memories. The views are stunning and it was just the right amount of stops. Great land and sea combo.

• Disorganised mess

  I've given one star for the fabulous guide that drove us around the island otherwise this was a complete shambles. I was given 2 different pick up times and spent hours the night before trying to ask which was correct , I was then given a 3rd different time. Got to nusa penida and no one there. Spent half an hour ringing and messaging the organiser again and luckily some locals helped us. I was fed lies about traffic but the driver when he arrived said he had been given a later pick up time. There were 3 short stops to snorkel and apparently you are very lucky if you say a manta ray, so the heading is quite deceiving. Had a nice time being shown around by a fab guide. It says back to hotel by 1500 on the description, nope not at all. We got the 1600 boat back. Yet again no sign of anyone on arrival. After dozens of messages ( pretty rude ones with not a single apology) we sat in the port for almost an hour and a half for our pick up. I was told " its not my fault if you got the early boat!" As a tourist, you go on which boat you're told, assuming its all coordinated. Again the driver said he had been told to get us at 545 not 430. We got back to our hotel at 1900 not 1500. Most disorganised cock up I've ever been on. I booked for this for me and my family and it was a disappointment and an embarrassment. No offer of even a partial refund either. DO NOT USE!

  Although Maddi (sp?) spoke only broken English, he definitely knew his way around the island. He was punctual, friendly, and patiently took a zillion pictures of me (since I was travelling solo). I got to see all the highlights of this beautiful place in one day, and we had a great time singing pop songs together while driving around. I loved that this was combined with the manta ray snorkeling. Truly the best of both worlds.
