Great tour. Cotswold was fantastic. Oxford is so full of history. Michal our guide was phenomenal. Long day, but worth it.

This tour is very accessible from London, and a great chance to get a taste of Oxford and walk around two of the many pretty villages in the Cotswolds. Our knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide, David, informed us about what we were seeing as we drove through London and the surrounding countryside. Transport was in a comfortable 17-seater minibus run by Scottish tour company Rabbie's. David explained the origins of place names, pointed out the blue plaques on buildings that denote important historic residents, and helpfully informed us of how much money we'd need to spend on a house in Belgravia :) Guests were given a map of central Oxford with a suggested self-guided tour that you could complete within the time we had (a little over 2 hours). This amount of time would have given us the chance to take a guided tour if we wished and several companies offer them although it's recommended to book in advance. We started with an hour in the wonderful Ashmolean Museum and had lunch in the historic covered market. Two hours in Oxford merely allows you to dip a toe into this charming town of 'dreaming spires' and you will want to visit again (and again). We then drove west to the beautiful Cotswolds, passing fields with gamboling spring lambs and hawthorn trees in bloom everywhere. I'm sure many of the residents won't appreciate all the tourists in these delightful villages but guests have time to visit gift shops and churches, stop in the pub, take photographs, eat ice cream, or have afternoon tea. The journey back to London allows time for a nap before arriving back in the early evening. As a tour guide myself, I highly recommend this trip.

This is basically a ride service. You are on your own for all tours etc. could have used more time to explore Oxford. To Rabbies I would recommend maybe extending the time spent in Oxford and making the other 2 stops a half hour each. Just enough time for a few pictures and washroom break. The driver Damien was very good.

The sites were beautiful! Burford is a cute area with nice shops and places to grab a little food.. The homes in Bibury are very quaint! Oxford, the university town, is better for more food options.. Our tour guide did great explaining things throughout the trip.

A fantastic tour by Rabbies tour company. The small group setting was ideal for a more personalized experience. The tour guide was friendly and taught us a lot about the history of the area while driving! The coach was very comfortable and the tour gave enough time to see everything and enjoy the sights. They even called me when I was late because I could not find the meeting point.
