Best way to explore Phillip Island from Melbourne! Our guide Jordan was so wonderful and was making us laugh the entire day. We learned so much about the island and truly had a wonderful time. The winery had yummy pizzas for lunch and delicious wine to taste. Our favorite part of the day was probably getting to see the Koalas. They were so adorable and cute! And the views at the Noobies were remarkable! Finishing the night at the penguin parade was so special and unique and would highly recommend this experience to anyone coming to Melbourne!

It’s a very long, but amazing day packed with great fun! I enjoyed the wine, beautiful beaches and seeing wildlife. Bring a jacket it gets VERY windy by the water.

Considering the penguin parade itself is $32 AUD and thd the wine tasting I believe I heard was $20 AUD and on their website the group menu option 1 is $41.50 so roughly $60 pp USD for everything. Viator's price of $160 felt pretty steep - especially when we had to pay to go to the conservation center as well. I see where some mentioned a farm. There was no farm on our tour. Also, the two towns we stopped in were pretty boring. When we arrived at the penguin parade, there was an hour wait for food. So I didnt get anything. I had popcorn for supper instead. Considering when we get back to Melbourne after midnight nothing is open, it was a bit irritating. Since I only had a short amount of time in Melbourne I would have much preferred leaving much later and skipping the towns and conservation center and having super at the winery before the peguin parade instead. I guess the winery stops serving food at 4 though, so not really possible. Just felt like a lot of "killing time" until the parade. The penguin parade itself was a bit of a let down as well. I think I built it up too much in my head. I was expectiing this big swarm of penguins going in the sea, but instead it was a few here and there running around the dunes. I will say the van was nice and comfortable compared to other tours Ive been on and I did like our guide. Also, it was nice to look up and see the stars for once. Perhaps adding a late night astrology event would be cool?
