In the company of an expert fluently English speaking, licensed guide, you will visit first the breathtaking Palatina Gallery, with splendid paintings by Raffaello, Tiziano, Artemisia Gentileschi, Van Dyck, Rubens, Caravaggio and then, after a short break, the wonderful Boboli Gardens, one of the first examples of socalled Italian Renaissance garden.

Pitti Palace is the most splendid example of a Renaissance private palace.

Enlarged through the centuries, it has maintened its external aspect absolutely unchanged, while the inner rooms do show different styles, depending on the families living in it: from the Pitti and Medici families to the Habsburg and Savoy family.

An extraordinary hub of rooms so richly decorated with priceless paintings, furniture, frescoes and statues, revealing the immense passion for arts all members of the Medici family cultivated, whwere we can truly sense how power and imagination can interact.

The Pitti Palace is beautiful, a must when visiting Florence. Our guide was fantastic, so knowledgeable about the history and the art of the palace. The gardens are gorgeous.

We booked a small group tour, as it was the first time for our kids in Florence and the Pitti palace. We were very lucky to have a fantastic tour guide Federica and a small group of 6. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and made our afternoon very entertaining. She answered all our questions with expertise and humility. We would highly recommend this experience which left us with a lot of new insights and stories. Who can spot the tiny humming birds in the Giodardino del Cavaliere part of the Boboli Gardens?

Very informative tour! Highly recommend but know you will do lots of walking/steps. Worth it though- very beautiful! Our tour guide was full of knowledge and made sure the group stayed together - even helped my mom up the steps!!

Our Guide was knowledgeable and touring Pitti Palace was interesting. I was very into the Medici. Our group of 3 were the only ones for the Bobli gardens and we agreed to cut it short as it was jot and we still had another tour after this one . We saw enough of it and she was very understanding . Thank You Richard and Victoria Wilson

The Boboli gardens are extensive and require more time to properly explore than the tour allows (perhaps have lunch in the cafe and allow more time to explore the gardens in more detail unaccompanied after the tour.) Camilla, our guide for the Palace and the Boboli gardens was excellent, a mine of interesting information in the level of detail which we appreciated, including the differences in the approach of the ruling families of Florence: Medici and Hapsburg. One of the highlights was a long corridor of rooms representing at the start Roman deities and then leading to the room where audiences with the Hapsburg grand duke took place. This was memorable. She was friendly and ready to answer our many questions with consummate background knowledge. We would thoroughly recommend this tour.
