Tokyo is full of hustle, bustle, and sights to see! But the maze of the metro system can tire some and provide challenges for those with walking limitations. At Japan Guide Agency, we are happy to provide this customizable, private guided tour with a vehicle!
Visit the Thunder Gate of Asakusa with its giant paper lantern for the feel of old Tokyo. Enjoy the tranquility of Meiji Jingu Shrine, an oasis of centuries old trees that has found itself right next to the pop culture fashion hotspot of Harajuku. Hungry? Head to Tsukuishima to enjoy Tokyo’s original dish, monjayaki! Your licensed guide and driver will ensure you enjoy your personalized tour.

5.00Our group of 4 had a fantastic day in Tokyo with our private guide Taku and driver Mizutani. Taku was full of knowledge about Japanese history, Shinto and Buddhism. His explanations were very interesting, relevant and well presented. We visited the beautiful Meiji Jingu Shinto Shrine, Tokyo Tower, the east gardens of the Imperial Palace and the Senso-ji Buddhist Temple. Taku's suggestion that we purchase our Tokyo Tower tickets online beforehand was well received since it enabled a smooth fast and easy access to a very busy location. Since our time in Tokyo was limited to only 1 full day this tour was the perfect option to experience Tokyo and it's many facets. Mizutani , our driver knew the streets well and was always there when needed. Thank you from each of us for a wonderful experience.

5.00We had an amazing private guided tour of Tokyo with Yoshii! He was punctual, polite, and extremely knowledgeable about Japan’s history and culture. We visited highlights like the Imperial Palace and Meiji Shrine, and Yoshii made each stop come alive with fascinating context and stories. The coordination between Yoshii and our driver was excellent — timing was near perfect, with almost no waiting time throughout the day. We maximized every moment learning about Tokyo while still keeping a relaxed pace. Yoshii’s passion for his city and his thoughtful explanations made this one of the most enriching tours we’ve ever done. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Tokyo!

5.00My wife and I took a full day private tour with Yoshi. We had a wonderful time. Yoshi-san was very knowledgeable and spoke very good English. He was also flexible with the itinerary. After the tour he also went out of his way to help us retrieve my wife’s purse from a taxi.

5.00Excellent communication from our guide Koji before the tour and a brilliant itinerary which was tailored to our requests. Koji was very informative and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for him. Our driver Yoshi was also brilliant and we enjoyed all aspects of our tour. A special thank you to Kobi for ensuring we managed to visit the Pokémon centre as well as shrines and the major tourist sites.

5.00What a wonderful tour we had with our guide Hideki! So far, our best tour yet! The company was very responsive to our communications and requests and put us in touch with Hideki right away to start planning the day. Hideki was quite helpful to make sure we got to see what we wanted to see and maximized the limited time we had in Tokyo. We saw everything and then some! He was very knowledgeable and quite friendly. He even helped me purchase some anime figurines in Akihabara which was quite an experience and in no way I could have done by myself. The Imperial Palace, Senso-Ji Temple, and Meiji Jingu Shrine was impressive but what makes it memorable is listening to his commentaries of each site. I have been on tours before where they just drop you off and let you fend for yourself and it's hard to know what you are looking at especially with the language barrier. Hedeki was amazing!! He also takes great pictures and the one of us crossing Shibuya was such a treat. The cherry on top was a non-scheduled stop at the end of the tour of a view of the city at night! So beautiful and one of our favorite picturesque moments of our entire trip! I would 100% recommend this tour and Hideki.

5.00We had an amazing day with Hideki. He is the perfect tour guide. He helped us shape a great agenda by contacting us early for the planning. On the day of the tour it was very hot. Hideki managed the planning to keep us as comfortable as possible while seeing the sites. He is full of interesting information about the country and destinations. His English is outstanding.
