Experience Japan like a local, far from the crowded and usually frequented places. Focus on relaxation and well-being without neglecting scenery and culture. We will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Hakone, one of Japan's most beautiful hot-spring towns. From there we will take scenic roads only, bringing you to magnificent panoramas of Mt Fuji, Hakone, the Sea of Japan, lakes, and temples.
Once the hunger settles in, we will reach a special place where you will be able to experience delicious authentic Japanese cuisine (no bento box on a plastic table, except if you want to, of course) and indulge in some of the region's best onsen.
After this relaxing time, we will once again take the road and finish our day at an incredible nearby museum, open air with a beautiful garden if the weather permits, or mesmerizing architecture if it rains.
As this is a private tour (with a private guide), you can tailor every step and detail to your preferences, or leave it up to us.

Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Fuji at several places during this day, along with many other surprises.
Hakone Turnpike Daikanyama Parking lot
We will begin the trip with one if not the most scenic road of the Fuji/Hakone region. The road itself has many panoramas and from the top observatory, there is an incredible view of all the valley, Hakone, and Fuji. Even in case of rain, it is so foggy and green that it is an incredible atmosphere.

5.00We had an amazing time in Hakone! Our guide, Evan, was absolutely wonderful. Even before the trip began, he prepared us with helpful information. During the trip he told us so many fascinating history and stories. He is also an excellent and safe driver. We are a family of six, including two elder members, and both Elli (the owner) and Evan carefully planned the tour with our needs in mind. They made sure everything was tailored to us so that we could experience all the sights we wanted to see without worry. At the end of the day, we were delighted to enjoy tea at a traditional tea house that is over 400 years old, run by the 14th generation of owners. It was such a special and memorable moment. My parents had always dreamed of visiting Hakone, and this tour truly turned that dream into the perfect experience. We deeply appreciate Evan’s professionalism, care, and warm company. We would highly recommend this tour to everyone!

5.00Cannot say enough good things about Elie and this tour. Super comfortable vehicle, very knowledgeable driver and beauty that we did not expect to see. Would absolutely do this again and take another tour with Elie! The trip to the Pola museum was also great!

5.00We had an outstanding tour of Hakone with Elie. Although the fog prevented us from seeing Mt. Fuji, the experience was excellent from start to finish. Elie was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and personable, making the day both enjoyable and informative. He also went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs, ensuring that suitable food options were available throughout the tour. His flexibility and attention to detail truly enhanced the experience. Even without a view of Mt. Fuji, the tour was memorable and rewarding thanks to Elie’s expertise and thoughtful guidance. We highly recommend him to anyone considering a visit to Hakone.

5.00We had a great experience we Elie during our Hakone tour. He was very responsive and proactive, knowledgeable and extremely patient. He even provided us with extra time, even tough he was aware that it would cause for a longer commute back due to traffic. The sites are out of this world and the experience was amazing. Defiantly one of the highlights of our trip.
