Your adventure begins with a scenic cruise across the crystal-clear waters of Lake Whakatipu, aboard either the iconic vintage TSS Earnslaw or the sleek Spirit of Queenstown.

Once you arrive over at the working high country station, partake in a wander around the grounds to meet and greet all the animals that call the farm home. Our guides will give fun and informative commentary, and you'll be delighted by a farm show detailing life for the working dogs.

Indulge in a decadently classic country morning/afternoon tea with homemade scones and tea. Use your time to your leisure to wander the gardens and re-visit your new animal friends.

Please be sure to arrive 20 minutes before your departure time to check in.

A great day trip, that has something for everyone. From the boat itself, to the service once on board, the views while travelling to Walter Peak and the Walter Peak experience, highly recommend.

The steam boat ride with a great view of the remarkables was the best part. The sheep dog demo and tea were both fun experiences. The farm tour was basically a petting zoo, but everything else made it worthwhile.

Wonderful boat trip and then really fun walk around the farm feeding the animals. Cory and Echo (the dog) were great guides. Afternoon tea was excellent . Highly recommend. The scenery on the boat trip was stunning.

Really good if you are travelling with younger or older family members who can’t do some of the more adventurous activities. Beautiful boat and beautiful farm. Very personable and informed guides. I really enjoyed it.

We had a wonderful time - the steamship was awesome, full of history and cool things to do. The food on board was excellent (as was the coffee). It wasn’t too crowded, was very organized, and the farm tour and tea were very sweet. Had an awesome time and highly recommend

A lovely visit, with delicious afternoon tea. The boat was crowded but worth the trip. We weren't given or directed to get boarding passes for the trip which was fine until disembarking. Sorted quickly though. Enjoyed the farm trail and show at the end. Food was yummy and gluten free catered for (as long as you tell them in advance). Would recommend for families with young kids.

Unbelievable from start to finish. Interesting boat ride with awesome views and friendly staff. Staff at the farm could not have been nicer. I knowledgeable farmer and chance to learn so much about sheep, dogs and cattle. Food was delicious too.
