At our ramen-making studio located within walking distance of Osaka Castle, one of Japan’s most iconic landmarks, you can create a full bowl of ramen entirely from scratch—from noodles to soup and toppings! This hands-on class is a popular activity that you can easily enjoy alongside your sightseeing. English-speaking instructors provide friendly support, so even first-timers can join with confidence. After the workshop, taste your own handmade ramen and take home an original souvenir.

TenmabashiST exit13(10min) MinamimorimachiST exit6(10min) TenmanguST exit7(5min) Umeda Sky Building, and Namba can all be reached in about 20~30 minutes by train.　　　 ≪≪≪Noodle Making≫≫≫　Use Japanese wheat flour specially made for ramen to create your own original noodles. Freshly made noodles are chewy and incredibly delicious!　　　 ≪≪≪Chashu Making≫≫≫　Prepare tender, juicy chashu using chicken simmered in our original broth. Experience making your very own flavorful chashu!　　　 ≪≪≪Soup Making≫≫≫　Choose from Tonkotsu, Shoyu, or Miso. Each soup is based on secret recipes from well-known ramen shops—pick your favorite flavor!　　　 ≪≪≪About the Venue≫≫≫　Our studio features walls decorated with ramen and Japanese motifs, perfect for memorable photos. Don’t miss the entrance glass door, crafted more than 100 years ago using a technique that no longer exists. This was an awesome experience from beginning to end! The location was easy to find and we were immediately greeted by Kumi, our amazing guide. She provided very clear instructions, resulting in the best ramen we have had in Japan thus far. Throughout the class, Kumi also shared fun facts about Japanese culture, which always helps one appreciate the culture more. We were given the recipe to make our own ramen at home in the future, as well as a charm related to a unique festival in Osaka, with its own celebration that we briefly learned about. Following the class, Osaka castle is a short walk away to help with the food coma that followed. Highly recommended!

Fantastic, fun experience. A highlight of my Japan trip and a must do whilst in Osaka if you enjoy cooking. Kaito and Maihiro were welcoming and enthusiastic hosts, both spoke good English and obviously enjoyed the cultural exchange with their guests. Hands on cooking, actually making the noodles from scratch, and a delicious meal to enjoy as a result.

We had an amazing time at the Ramen Making Studio. From the moment we step foot inside, everyone was so welcoming. Not only do you get a yummy bowl of ramen that you learned to make yourself, you also get educational opportunities about Japanese culture and the history of many of the things you have seen/will see during your time in Japan. 10/10 recommend

My husband and I had such a fun time and experience taking this class! The employees are amazing so friendly and they speak English well. We did A LOT of walking so it was also nice to sit and enjoy the time. Would absolutely recommend this.

This ramen class in Osaka was so much fun! The hosts were friendly and made the atmosphere relaxed. The location is not far from Osaka Castle, so it was easy to combine it with some sightseeing. They shared interesting stories about Japanese culture, which made the experience feel authentic and personal. We laughed a lot, enjoyed ourselves, and ended up with some great photos — definitely a highlight of our trip!

The staff are just so wonderful. Professional, kind, humble and spoke excellent English. The Ramen was absolutely beautiful we even made the noodles. Highly recommend

My husband and I had an AMAZING time learning how to make ramen with the lovely staff! Everyone was so friendly and hospitable, they spoke great English and made the steps easy to follow. The ramen was DELICIOUS and they gave each of us a complimentary beverage! We would definitely take our kids here next time we come to visit! Thank you Mahiro!!

This was the most wonderful experience!! The staff were so kind, friendly and fun. We made ramen from scratch and were guided so well during the process in the spotlessly clean kitchen. And it was so delicious! So much fun!! We will definitely be cooking Ramen at home. Definitely one of the biggest highlights of our visit to Japan. 🍜 🇯🇵 ✌️

They've only been open a week so things aren't going smoothly yet. Staff were nervous but everything was more than made up for by their enthusiasm. Explanations were fine in good English. The food itself was a distinct positive experience and more than enough ingredients. All in all a top experience which I would not have missed.

Saki and Lily are great in teaching you to make ramen. They explain the whole process in English and with a lot of enthousiasm. It is nice to do something different and here you can! Everything is clean and well looked after.
