Learn to make pasta by hand with a professional chef as your guide. Your 3hrs class teaches you the basics of cooking authentic Italian pasta that you can recreate in your own kitchen. The class takes place in a charming cooking school with state-of-the-art appliances in the heart of Rome's Trastevere neighborhood. There, meet your Italian chef and small group of fellow cooks over an Italian aperitivo, a plate of cured meats and cheese with a glass of prosecco. Once you've relaxed, begin making fettuccine and ravioli from scratch with a traditional red and white sauce made with seasonal ingredients handpicked by your chef. As the pasta dries, take a break with a gelato-making demonstration. Finally, sit down to enjoy it with plenty of wine and homemade gelato to top it all off.

The instructors were great! However, the gelato was disappointing. It was overly salted. They said they were giving us a salted caramel flavor but it just tasted like someone added salt instead of sugar by mistake. It was a disappointing end to an otherwise lovely experience.

Very fun experience! The 2 girls who did our cooking class made it fun and yummy! Even my husband, who doesn't cook said he had the best time!

Fernanda was wonderful. She is a masterful chef and created an enjoyable experience for us. We prepared a simple, fresh tomato pasta and a made homemade ravioli. Thanks to her guidance I learned a few new techniques that I will take with me. I can’t wait to get home and make her pasta sauce again.

This was an amazing experience in Trastevere! This was our best meal in Rome, and we made it! Our teachers were very knowledgeable, helpful, engaging, and fun! I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to learn about Italian cooking! We made pasta, sauce, and gelato - all of which were amazing!!

Absolutely loved this class taught by Frederica and Manuela. Both clearly love what they do and kept us engaged (including my 13 and 11 years olds).
