This tour was the HIGHLIGHT of our entire trip!!! The guides, Luca and Jack were phenomenal and I cannot thank them enough for such a memorable day. My grandma needs a mobility scooter to get around, but can walk short distances and steps if needed. We let the guides know ahead of time who assured us it wouldn’t be a problem. The day before the tour, they messaged us to let us know it might be more steps than they initially thought and asked if we would prefer a private guide for Pompeii so we wouldn’t be concerned about keeping up with the group. This would have been an extra charge, but honestly part of the experience for us was experiencing the tour with other tourists so we insisted we would be okay. When we showed up to the meeting point, Jack and Luca greeted us and introduced us and immediately ensured us that the tour would be wonderful, and that they could accommodate the scooter. We used two vans, and they took a chair out of the side of one so my grandma could get in and out easily. We had the van to ourselves with Luca, and the way to our first stop Luca took the time to explain monuments and attractions and point things out to us as he drove. The coffee place where we had breakfast was incredible, it was a bakery and we had a light breakfast and delicious coffee to wake us up! Despite what we said about Pompeii, it seemed like they did ask for a private guide for us at the tour companies expense, and our guide in Pompeii was lovely. She took us all over, and it was challenging with a mobility scooter in some parts but she was accommodating and patient and showed us everything at our own pace which we really, really appreciated! That was incredibly sweet and we were very glad to have our own guide! Knowing how Pompeii is laid out now, and how tricky it can be to get around some parts we can absolutely confirm that we would opt for a private guide if we did this experience again! It was nice not to be rushed and feel like we had to keep up and even with our own guide, we were kept as part of the group and continued with them after we were done touring Pompeii. Our next stop was an adorable little road side limoncello place along the Sorrento coast that Luca brought us to with delicious limoncello! We received sorbet and a few shots of limoncello which we got to eat with a view of the water and the town of sorrento. Then we had lunch with the rest of the group at a beautiful seaside restaurant. We had a few options to choose from, and ended up with a delicious pasta and wine! Jack and Luca checked up on us several times to make sure things were going well and to update us on what was happening or next. At the end of the punch, Jack took a bunch of pictures of us outside of the restaurant with a beautiful view of the ocean behind us. He even moved tables and other things around and pointed us to the best spot to take the pictures! It felt like a photo shoot! Then we stopped at a few scenic places on the way back to Rome for gorgeous pictures of the country side and the ocean, including a little park with beautiful vantage points of sorrento. I only wish we had a little extra time to shop in sorrento! On the way back, Luca offered to drop us off at our hotel instead of the meeting point, but we decided to try to get to Castel Sant’angelo before closing instead and he was incredible with getting us back to the city in time for us to do that, and even guiding us to the easiest way to the entrance so we wouldn’t waste any time getting inside. Overall this was the best tour we had of the entire trip. It was wonderful from start to finish, and our guides Luca and Jack were incredible. I would absolutely recommend this trip to anyone visiting Rome as it was a perfect ending to our trip and very nice to spend time outside of the city! Thank you so much for an awesome ending to our trip, and to being so kind and patient with us throughout the day!

So worth it! Super fun experience. No stress. We enjoyed our Giacomo, our guide. He was sooooo fun and accommodating in every way. Giac wanted to make sure we had everything we could have ever desired. Breakfast location and pizza location was best in the world. Pompeii guide was knowledgable and outstanding. Sorrento is drop dead gorgeous.
