Nice tour, but a bit overpriced I think. Too many stereotype jokes... I don't know what else to say....

Enthusiastic tour guide who gave tours also at the Vatican. Her husband worked at the villa for years. Great information and nonstop for the 2 hours the villa allows for visits. Distilled the collection to the must see items and told its story. Much better than other tours we got in Venice where the guide was distracted and not knowledgeable. We got lucky here.

What a wonderful experience this was with a 2 hour guided tour. The tour guide was magnificent although we unfortunately did not get his name. We would highly recommend this tour.

This was a beautiful guided tour of the Borghese Gallery. Highly recommended! Our guide was extremely friendly and managed with great passion to really inspire us for the masterpieces of Bernini (especially!), Caravaggio, Botticelli and Titian. What was particularly impressive was how he explained art-historical contexts in an understandable way, emphasising the emotional and historical dimensions of the works — a deep understanding and genuine love for art! Hats off! Thank you for this wonderful experience!

Great 101 introduction to Bernini, as well as history and art. Would not be able to observe the historical and artistic background with the knowledgeable guide.

The guide was good except her audio equipment was so bad that my husband could not use it. I would avoid this company if you have hearing aids. This company did not have any other headsets except for the single ear piece. My husband had a blue tooth transmitter he attempted to use with their equipment, but it cut in and out (mostly out). His transmitter has worked fine with other operators or they had headphones available for people with hearing aids. Not enjoyable if you don't even hear the tour.

Eddie took us round the Galleria Borghese. He explained the history of the purpose-built museum and the importance of the Borghese family. We focused on a few key art pieces — sculptures by Bernini and Canova, paintings by Caravaggio and Titian, and the Roman floor mosaics of gladiators and hunters. He explained the history and the myths that inspired these masterpieces and drew our attention to details we would have missed without him. His knowledge and passion for Baroque art were clear, and we left with a much better understanding of this fascinating period after the Renaissance.

It has been a month now since Alicia gave us a tour of the Borghese Gallery. We look back fondly on our time there as a top highlight of our time in Rome. Alicia was thoroughly knowledgeable and set forth explanations of what we were looking at in careful and elaborate detail. We left there not only learning about the artworks, but gained a deeper understanding of how to truly see the beauty and details of what we were visually taking in.
