When you put a group of strangers together you never know how the dynamic will be. Luckily this small group of 5 bonded and got along so well for this 3 hour walk & feast tour. Silvia was our tour guide and she was so gracious, kind, knowledgeable, down to earth and took the time to make each person feel part of the group. She was attentive to our needs and opinions but she layered the experience with historical facts and information that I felt it was two tours in one. The level of abundance of food provided was not expected. We ate more in food and wine than what we paid for this tour, it’s crazy how generous the portions were. Bring stretchy pants and an empty stomach! I would do this over easily, and wish all tour guides were are professional and lovely as Silvia was to us. She is a gem, don’t let her go. :)

The guide was very nice & provided lots of history of the areas we were not very familiar with. We really appreciated this because we were in town only 1 day. However, most of the stops for food were very dissapointing. We were expecting to get into some great restaurants, but instead, just a deli for tiny samples, ghetto restaurant food was disgusting (deep fried veggie? ) Very cheap. The Pasta & wine tasting stop was by far the best & the gellato stop in Trastevere was also good. Definitely not what we were expecting in terms if a food tour!
