Entry to the Vatican requires a security check. During high seasons, queues for security checks may take up to 150 minutes

5.00Awesome place. Words cannot explain the art and sculptures. The architecture was astounding given the time it was built. Tour guides were very knowledgeable and friendly.

1.00This tour offer no perks whatsoever. We ended up in a queue for 2.5hours before getting up to the dome. We were placed in the same queue as people that had no tickets, you would really expect the tour operator to have the tickets pre purchased, in an effort to speed things up.

3.00The dome is 5 stars. The tickets 2 stars. You are in a HUGE group. The line is long, the wait is long and you spend twice the money for the same thing that you would buy directly. The sudio guide was ok but you need your own device and headphones so listen to Rick Steves or another for free. If you don't plan ahead and it's your only option, it will get you in, but there are likely better options.

2.00Booking in advance does not do anything and costs unnecessarily more money. You spend unnecessarily more time waiting, even registering all the people who have booked takes a lot of time. You're not quicker at the controls and at the entrance. Simply line up normally and then buy the tickets at the entrance makes more sense.

3.00The organization at the meeting point was really very good. About 30 minutes before the start, the two attendants could already be found at the cafe, which ensured a smooth start. Also the small attention – a 0.5 L water bottle for each person – was very nice. (we could also use due to the long Waiting time) We then went to the security check together with a large group (about 120 people). (Everyone has to pass by) After about 30 minutes we were through there, but then had to wait another 1.5 hours until we finally got to the dome. The two escorts were friendly throughout. However, the concrete advantage of this special ticket has not quite been revealed to me. Compared to a normal ticket, I could not see any noticeable time or comfort advantage. Conclusion: The dome is definitely worth a visit – an impressive experience! However, whether this ticket offers the best added value is questionable in my view.

1.00I have just received a request to review the experience which did not even start yet. We arrived 15mins before the planned start. The first queue was for a sticker and a free bottle of water. Then you wait for the whole group to meet. After that you queue for a security check. Then you wait for the rest of the 100+ group to go through the security. The next waiting is inside next to toilets. After we waited outside to find out our 142 USD tickets cost 80 EUR with less waiting. I cannot write anything about the experience itself since it did not start yet. Still waiting………

1.00This is a total scam. They are not even a reseller of official tickets. Entry to the Basilica is free, for entry to the Dome there is an official site with tickets. If you book your tickets on the official site, you can go through a faster queue for the security check, and without queue to the Dome. These people just stayed with us in a usual queue for the security check, and what is even more funnier, in the queue for the tickets. Basically you pay for someone to stay near you in the queue, and then buy you a ticket in the ticket office. Advice: book tickets in advance on the official site, or go early by yourself.

4.00The Basilica and Dome are absolutely wonderful and really worth visiting. The tour experience was OK. You meet in front of a crowded little bar and they give you a sticker. You then follow the guide up to the Dome elevator. For us, it took us almost 40 minutes to get up to the elevator. Not sure how much value the guide really added. Once you finished visiting the Dome, you go through the Basilica, which is very impressive, and don't forget o see Michellangelo's Pieta!
