Beware when you book with this Tour Operator!

My husband and I booked this particular tour because it is tour on your own pace. We didn’t want to hold up a tour group as we both have physical limitations. I expected to get the tickets electronically. When I did not receive the tickets electronically I attempted to contact the tour operator and received no answer. Digging deeper into the contact information I found a requirement to travel several blocks away from the Vatican and pick the tickets up at their office and instructions to be 30 minutes early. There was no way we could make it. We decided to just go to the Basicila. We waited in a long line and got through the security checkpoint phone when I finally got a call from the tour operator. He insisted we go to the office to pick up the tickets. When I explained we were already in St. Peter’s Square he agreed to send the tickets electronically. After several more minutes he called me back and insisted I walk or take a Taxi to get the tickets from him. I told him I could not do that. He would not agree to a refund.

Worth every penny to pay for skip the line! The representative walked us through form the meetup spot until we were inside. Great option!!

The company contracted for this experience was difficult to work with. Days before the tour they called and asked to reschedule the tour after they had already made a time change and informed me via email. I requested written confirmation of the change as my voucher still stated the original day and time. The tour provider was unresponsive to messages on the Viator app. We ended up getting our skip the line entrance, but the experience of getting to that point was frustrating to say the least.

Terrible never use this company they change reservation after you say don’t making your whole day a mess to rearrange rude people and never use

Would have appreciated a map. Liked the skip the line. Vatican is amazing. Expect a ton of stairs and very hot crowded spaces.
