5.00If you are time limited in Italy, this was a great way to get a taste of Florence. We had only 3 days in Rome ahead of a cruise and the combination of train and guided tour of key parts of Florence was ideal. Francesca’s a good job keeping a diverse group organized and Elena did a wonderful job in the Uffici Museum explaining some of the classics. Enjoyable day.

5.00A wonderful day in Florence. The trip includes transportation to Florence from Rome, a tour of the Uffizi Gallery -- our guide was incredible -- then most of the day is on your own so be prepared with ideas for how to fill the time. A really great day overall, particularly when you want to see more of Italy than just Rome.
Florence Walking Tour was hot but fun.

4.00Bullet Train was pretty cool, assigned seats, charging under the tables. There is plenty of time (3-4 hours) to do want you want after the Florence tour part. Our tour guide in Florence was great. Our guide that got us to/from train kept lighting up a cigarette right next to us while we’re waiting as a group which was a little annoying. Be aware if you decide to eat in Piazza (or anywhere in Italy) next to the Apple Store in Florence— After you get your food/drinks it may take 1-2 hours (no joking) to get your check. Wait stuff doesn’t get most of their pay from tips like in the US which means why would they want to clear your table and get more work? So just make sure you ask for your check right when they bring the food if you need to be somewhere within an hour.

3.00Very disorganized tour. We were left on our own for the majority of the time and then when it came to the tours, we didn’t get to go to the Duomo and the cathedral was closed. This was not told to us and we would have gone to visit these places during our free time, but we waited because the tour indicated we would go there for the tour. Also was an English tour and half the time the tour guide was speaking Spanish. The actual tour was maybe two hours out of the eight hours.

5.00It was a great experience. Angelo was very personable and our walking tour operator knew the ins and outs of our visit so we could optimize our time. He had tremendous knowledge of Florence and its historical and cultural significance. The train transfer was seamless thanks to Angelo. Florence is must see and this tour was the best way to do it.
