4.00This tour was really fun! Would highly recommend. David, our tour guide, was informative. However, he didn’t give us the full 2 hours that it was booked for. Not sure if it was because there was a regatta going on, but we were no where near it. My only other complaint is that there was a family of 5 that rode in 2 separate boats. They didn’t follow instructions and both of their boats came pretty close to ours, and we felt unsafe at times. David, unfortunately, didn’t do anything about it, so for that reason, I’m giving 4 stars.

4.00I received an email from TripAdvisor to sign a waiver prior to our excursion, however, the link provided did not work. So we arrived at the excursion early to sign the waiver. The Speedboat Adventures company rep was noticeably frustrated because waivers from TripAdvisor have not been working, and we were told we might not be able to proceed with the activity. She had to send me a link to complete the waivers, and luckily she was able to let us proceed with the booking. So there is a disconnect of some sort breaking this excursion thru TripAdvisor. The outing itself was really fun! We would highly recommend it and would do it again. David, our guide, was informative about everything. However, there was a family in our tour who were in 2 separate boats, who did not follow rules, and David didn’t do anything about it. We felt unsafe at times because they were too close to use.

5.002 hr educational thrill ride! Amazing experience on the water. Great instructors and easy to follow. Beautiful atmosphere, great for beginning boaters. Great way to see the city from the water! 20/10!

5.00David was an exceptional tour guide. Very informative about rules and the sites we got to visit. It was fun jumping through waves in the bay, definitely would do again.

5.00Is a must do in San Diego! We can't believe why this attraction is not as popular. Its much better than renting jet skis.

5.00I thoroughly enjoyed this speed boat tour of the beautiful harbour. Would highly recommend. Guide was outgoing and very good. Very few people in our small group had ever driven a boat before. It was my first time, and I had no issues at all. Loved speed. Reasonably priced. Decent length of time.

4.00great fun! Did speedboat in Cancun but the 3 groups that were on the same tour time made it a very dangerous group tour. The cutting, switching drivers during full throttle was stupid. Majority of the group did not follow directions. It was fun but stressful, if someone was going to end up falling in the water in full throttle or seriously injured.

5.00A must do activity when I San Diego if you enjoy adrenaline and site seeing. Take turn driving the speed boat. Sits up to three. We went at three and got to ride back in the sunset. Absolutely beautiful

5.00I absolutely loved it! The tour guide was amazing — super friendly, funny, and she explained so many interesting things during the ride. We passed some really cool spots, and the overall vibe on the water was just perfect. The best part: we were even allowed to drive the boat ourselves, which was honestly so much fun and made the whole experience feel even more special. I can totally recommend it, especially if it’s sunny outside. It’s such a unique and relaxed way to see the area, and definitely one of my highlights!
