1.00We were only interested in the Sistine Chapel, an appointment from 2 pm and we discovered that it was closed at 1 pm to the public. We weren't warned by anyone. Once the refund request is initiated, if you are honest you will recognize the discomfort.

5.00The Vatican is very crowded. We were glad to have these skip the line tickets. After some delay as the Vatican entry scanners were not working we got in quickly. This ticket was just for skip the line tickets not a guided tour but this tour company was very accommodating and set us up with an official Vatican guide. His name was Frank (Flemish), and he was quite entertaining and made many connections to today which was great, especially to engage the kids. He was able to explain the Sistine Chapel via a large touch screen near the start of the tour which was great as talking is not allowed in the Sistine Chapel and our guided tour ended just before that. So you do the Sistine Chapel at the end and a few more rooms without a guide which was fine. We did the Vatican Museum and Sistine chapel. I understand touring St Peter’s Basilica is free, unless you do the Dome Climb. We did not do that as after this tour and still being inside the Vatican as the kids were too tired from the 2+ hours of walking and standing to see the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel.

3.00We had made the reservation and we were misissued the tickets. We had to wait an hour until we were given the right ones delaying the entry time
