5.00Long lines. We missed our tour time by not giving enough time for the metro. The group still helped us use our tickets to get in and do an audio tour. Highly recommend the rm. kind and supportive. Do recommend printing out a map for your own use. The museum only has electronic maps. That was not convenient for us. The museum and the system chapel were amazing. We then toured St. Peter’s for another WOW. Worth the time to see them all. September was a nice time to be in Rome.

5.00They are very personable and care about your experience! I was 1hr and 20min late because of travel delays and missed the group. They did not give up on me and started texting me to check on my location. When I finally arrived, one of the employees personally walked me over to the Vatican to get me in ahead of the line and It was a great experience!! I went through at my own pace. Loved it!!

5.00The museum and the chapel can be very overwhelming given how busy it gets but we couldn’t fault the experience we had with Pioneer Tours. Our host Denu (I think was his name) walked us as a group from the ticket office up to the skip-the-line entry which had no queue. I would highly recommend choosing this option as we could see a 2+ hour line built up for people who didn’t use this option.

3.00Pro: Viator tour personnel - show up to office, they have entrance ticket available and walk you to a expedited line. Friendly and helpful. Con: the museum itself; hard to enjoy when it is extremely crowded and very very hot. Baby carriages, large tour groups and the high temps make it almost impossible to enjoy. If you went once, you shouldnt feel the need to go back. Or if you miss it altogether it would be okay too. Yes, there are historically famous works of art but again hard to enjoy when you cannot stop to admire because the crowds are overwhelming. Also for those who have difficulty walking it is not recommended. If you opt to go - get earliest ticket possible. If you opt not to go, save your money and enjoy St. Peters instead.
