The price is £75 per person based on a minimum of 4 participants.
If fewer than 4 people are booked when you reserve, a small group supplement of £30 pp may apply. However, this supplement will be fully refunded if the final group size reaches 4 or more.
Our guide will take you to five our the best independents in York and at each one, you will have a taster which will delight your taste buds. We can take you to places you might not have found otherwise. The places we visit are all independents and passionate about providing excellent food and a great atmosphere. Our guide will help you on the culinary and cultural adventure and make sure you have a great afternoon.

5.00Such a wonderful experience. Sarah was such a friendly and knowledgable guide who we thoroughly enjoyed spending our afternoon with. The food was incredible and we visited places we never would have done but already can’t wait to go back to. Highly recommend this tour!!

Nikki our guide was so amazing, she talked through where we were going and gave us little facts on the way about York itself, she got stuck in with getting to know everyone and made us all feel very at ease! The tour took you to four different places and the portions varied in size, but after was left stuffed. A drink at each place to from a cocktail, sirian tea, wine and a coffee ...what more could you ask for! We live just outside of York , but it was great to go to different places we may not have gone to before.

5.00Thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Our guide Kay was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed her company very much. The sample menus were all delicious and encouraged us to come out of our comfort zone . Would highly recommended this experience.

5.00We can highly recommend this walking food tour. It was just the right balance and as we were a small group it worked perfectly. Our guide was knowledgeable & engaging and wove history & culture into each stop. We visited a thoughtfully curated mix of 4 local gems—ranging from family-run eateries to tucked-away places that most tourists would never find. Every dish we tried was delicious. We will definitely re-visit all of the places we went to. The pacing of the tour was perfect: enough walking to build an appetite between stops, but never rushed or tiring. We left full, happy, and with a deeper appreciation for some of the independent eateries in York. Highly recommended!

5.00Excellent balance of walking, eating and history. Kay was an excellent and informative guide. The tour took us to places that we would not have found by ourselves.
Adaptable tour for mobility issues and friendly guide. Beautiful food!

5.00We attended as 2 support workers accompanying a man with a mild learning disability and mobility issues, using a 3 wheel walker. The tour organisers were was very responsive and helpful prior to the tour, reassuring us that they will accommodate us as much as they can. On the day, Kirsty was very friendly and comfortable engaging with the man we support. He had a blast! We sampled food from around the world which was lovely. À wonderful experience all round. Thanks again!!

5.00Wonderful tour of York's food scene. We tried places we wouldn't have known about. Guide had to slow her pace to accommodate us slower walkers. She should to not start her information until everyone is able to hear her. Overall, very good, informative and very nice.
