5.00Great excursion that should be part of your Maui stay. Saw lots of interesting celestial bodies including Saturn . Perfect setting on the beach and well informed guide Christian who provided enough information and stories without sounding like a lecture .

5.00This was AMAZING! We walked to a super dark part of the beach where we saw more stars than we've ever seen in our lives! The guide was SO smart and told us all kinds of facts about the stars, planets, and galaxies. He had this awesome laser pointer which went all the way up to the sky so he could point our particular constellations. The MOST amazing thing we saw was Saturn. The telescope was so powerful that you could see the rings. This was the last activity we did on our trip and it was the perfect, most relaxing way to cap things off. If you (or your kids) are interested in space you will really enjoy this!
Wonderful experience. Educational and beautiful time on the beach with the stars.

5.00Wow, what an amazing experience. Christian was an excellent tour guide with so much knowledge about the stars and universe. He had an answer for every question asked by myself and anyone else in the group. In addition to his vast knowledge about the night sky, planets, constellations, etc., he integrated the Hawiian culture and how they read the stars and knew the Hawiian names for the constellations! I love the Hawiian culture and that was a big hit for me. All in all I give this experience a 10/10 and would 100% do it again next time I visit Maui. When you visit Maui this is a must do!! Thanks Christian!!

Christian was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the stars, but he had a gift for weaving together Polynesian culture, Greek mythology, and modern astronomy in a way that was both fascinating and easy to follow—even for a beginner like me. His passion shines through in every part of the experience. You could tell he’s spent years honing his craft in New Zealand, and it was so impressive to see how thoughtfully he’s adapted that deep knowledge to the northern night sky of Maui. He brought the constellations to life with rich stories and cultural context, and somehow managed to keep both first-timers and astronomy buffs equally engaged. The whole tour felt immersive and interactive, with lots of opportunities to ask questions, gaze through a telescope, and learn through storytelling. It was one of those rare experiences that leaves you feeling more connected to the world around you—and the sky above. If you’re on Maui and looking for something truly special, this tour is a must-do. Bring a light jacket and leave your phones and electronics in the car, Christian has little red light torches to help guide you to a big comfy mat set up on the beach!
