  We were very lucky and saw a great display of the aurora, despite initially the weather having high cloud. Our bus advertised a glass roof , which we didn’t have, but the windows were panoramic. Oscar our guide and driver managed to find good spots to view the light show. He is happy to help with your camera settings, including on a phone and his photos are also shared after the experience, including ones he takes of you. Oscar is knowledgeable when asked. We took snacks with us which was just as well as advertised cookies didn’t appear. We did however had hot chocolate around a lovely warm fire. Overall a brilliant experience and we would recommend this company.

  This was a great evening, with an excellent guide called Brynjar. Highly knowledgeable and reassured everyone that as we left Tromsø in heavy rain and wind, he was confident we would see the Northern lights. He did of course warn working with nature wasn’t easy. Brynjar did everything he could to make our evening great. He was brilliant and he did track the perfect sit down, based on his and his teams experience. My only criticism is with so many tours as well as airport coaches departing from the same location, there was nothing in the booking confirmation other than an address. A very landmark would be better, with an indication of how we can identify the team running the tour. It was bedlam. The only way we found Brynjar was by asking lots of other people who were stood around. This should be fixed somehow as I am sure stress levels as people scramble to find their your.

  I leave this review with a bit of hesitation. First, I want to clarify that I think the tour company was good and the itinerary was well thought out. Although we didn’t see any lights, my review is basically for our guide/ driver Oscar. He was very non-communicative throughout our eight hour journey. He never explained to us the science behind the northern lights, why we are moving around so much or what instruments they were using to chase the lights. This being our third light chase of the week, we had a lot of this information but for those who are doing it for the first time they were very lost. Being together this long on a tour being more interactive would’ve made it more enjoyable. If Oscar is your driver, see if you could switch buses.

• Great first Aurora experience

  This was our first aurora tour & experience. Our guide Brynjar was fantastic and extremely experienced. I love the communication about the conditions and preparation about possible disappointments Brynjar detailed us before hand. Brynjar knew exactly what he was doing right to the point. We didn’t have to go far (1hr from Tromsø) to find a camp spot. After, he spent most of time talking to the groups and taking amazing pictures of the group and the aurora. Those two pictures are from Brynjar after the tour. I’d recommend this tour! And definitely dress warm from toe to the face!

  I did a couple of chases while in Tromso and Arctic Breeze was the best by far. Guide was very experienced and made sure to take us to beautiful spots, and keep us entertained and warm until the lights came out. Loved the glass roof of the van to enjoy the spectacle on the drive back as well.
