Join my private 2.5–3 hour Tokyo tour, customised just for you!
We’ll explore public transportation together, so you’ll feel confident navigating on your own later. I’ll create a course that matches your style—whether you’d like to see the big must-see spots, escape the crowds and enjoy quiet hidden gems, or taste the best of the season. Not sure what to pick? No problem! I’ll send you photo ideas and you can choose from there. If you don’t select a course, just let me know your interests or requests—I’ll design the tour for you.
Since I need to plan your tour with you, please be sure to check and reply to my emails—otherwise I may not be able to accept your booking.
Want to add lunch? I can take you to local restaurants where Japanese people really eat (meal not included). You can also choose an optional day trip to Kamakura, a historic seaside town older than Tokyo. Check the “Options” page for details!

This is a sample itinerary for this product. At first, the manners in shrines and temples are explained. Site A: Ueno Toshogu This is the gorgeously decorated shrine of Shinto (Japan’s ethnic religion) which was established in 1627. There's a five-story pagoda beyond the fence. IMPORTANT: As this is a private and personalised experience, the places you visit may differ from those listed and these will be chosen by your host based on your interests and preferences.

5.00We had the best time with Itsuko! She had done careful planning and custom made little pamphlets for us. She selected some excellent and interesting locations that also kept us out of the heat. She was especially good with my son. Definitely recommend

1.00Regrettably my partner torn his knee and was unable to do any stairs or much walking. Which is not the best for a walking tour. However the guide was really kind offered a suggestion near to our hotel but could not supply a refund due to such short notice. Our tour guide was very prompt with messages etc and I would recommend to others.
