Booking this experience for the day we were leaving Japan was perfect timing. It was a great way to learn about this ceremony. There were only 2 couples and so it was a very intimate experience. I would highly recommend booking this and don't forget to bring some extra cash to purchase some items that are available.

The tea ceremony - performed by Yuki- was a wonderful experience. Starting from the history to the independent preparation of matcha. We will always combine our trip to Japan with this experience. Theresa

A great experience. The staff were very friendly, caring and kind. The building is a little hard to find, so getting there early (20 mins) is a must!

Fabulous experience. There were just 6 of us and our instructor was friendly and informative. A great way to learn about the history of the Japanese Tea Ceremony, watch how the expert makes the tea and then do it yourself - accompanied by traditional Japanese sweets from the various seasons. The contrast between the tranquillity of the tea ceremony and the bustling streets of Dotonbori, a stones throw away, was remarkable!

Nice relaxing experience And you’d enjoy making macha yourself. A mocha pastry is included too. Thank you

This was mine and my boyfriend’s first experience doing a formal tea ceremony with Mai sensei and it was a phenomenal experience! As someone being half Japanese, this was something I wanted to try once as part of my culture and being able to share with someone that I love. Would recommend to anyone wanting to try this process!

We had a wonderful time at the tea ceremony and diving into Japanese culture. We had Mai guide us as we made matcha tea and learned about the history of tea ceremonies. Would definitely recommend if you visit Osaka!

our instructor was so kind and knowledgeable. It was a hands-on class. We got to make our own tea. I learned a lot, and it was fun too.
