Located in Dotonbori, center of Osaka's Namba/Shinsaibashi district, this facility allows you to experience the traditional Japanese tea ceremony. A tea ceremony instructor will explain the culture and history of the tea ceremony and then make and drink tea for everyone. Children are also welcome, and caffeine-free matcha milk is provided.

this was an underwhelming experience for me. nothing special. The host was really nice and sweet, and served the sweets, and matcha. But there is really nothing that I learned about making tea that I did not know before.

Highly recommend this tea ceremony lesson. We learned about the history, traditions, method, and etiquette for making matcha in a ceremony. The instructor demonstrated and then allowed each of us to try all the steps to create our own bowl of matcha. Must try this experience.
