The tea ceremony lasted an hour with a group of 8 people. The host started of by explaining the history behind the tea ceremony and then showed us how to make matcha tea. We were given traditional sweets and then we were able to make matcha tea ourselves. The host was very good at explaining things and we enjoyed our visit. It is a unmissable experience and definitely worth the money.

The experience was truly delightful. The setting and seating was very traditional, but did have stools to accommodate if needed. Before diving into the ceremony, we learned about the history and traditions of the tea ceremony. The tea ceremony was then demonstrated for everyone, and it was quite peaceful and was an art form. We concluded by participating in the ceremony, and mixed our own tea, which was quite delicious!

We enjoyed learning about the tea ceremony, the culture and the history of the ceremony. The room is a private cozy room, where we went through the history of the tea ceremony, and then were shown how the tea ceremony is performed. After we made our own tea and ate sweets.

Great Japanese tea experience with a host that explained all history and art of tea making very nicely. What makes this ceremony special is that it was formal yet very informative and friendly experience due to excellent host. Keep it up. We would recommend it. We would give it 5 stars if location was more formal tea house like setting.

This experience allowed us to learn about the history of tea and how it should be served and why you should slurp at the final stage of drinking match tea. A wonderful experience indeed the guide is so knowledgeable.
