4.00Fun trip all the way - night kayaking, morning snorkel, island walk, fishing and a friendly, fun crew who were enthusiastic and helpful. Food was great and the toilets and showers worked well. Overall it was a great night out on the boat with the crew going out of their way to ensure everyone was having a good time. Good value for money, just pack a small overnight bag and away you go!

5.00This trip is 100% worth the money. Fun activities, a lovely crew, great food and a really chill atmosphere. Not as rushed as other touristic adventures. And you get to do night kayaking and swim in bioluminescent plankton! It felt like being surrounded by fairy dust – just pure magic :) Don't mistake this for a Hole in the Rock sightseeing tour, even though the name is very similar. It's way better!

5.00Wow, what an experience! There was so much to do, a cool boat design, lots of games, musical instruments and a bar, the boat was well kitted out - the only time you needed your phone was for the photo taking. I loved the fishing the most, there were constant bites on your line, a handful of keepers and a massive one which got away. I also enjoyed the snorkelling, night kayaking, seeing the bioluminence at night, lagoon swim, Island walk and learning about the general information about the area. Food was filling and delicious too! I still have adventure withdrawals thinking about it all. I had so much fun. Thanks to the Skipper - Erin and First Mate - Sarah for making the trip so memorable. Wish I could work a job like that! Definitely recommend this trip for people who love adventure and new experiences. 10/10✌️

5.00We went with a family of 5 in a family cabin on the overnight cruise and had the best time! Great company, great crew, great food, great activities in the most beautiful of back drops. Don't think, just book it!! You will not regret it.

5.00We did the overnight cruise and it was absolutely amazing!!! 100% would recommend everyone do this. Our guide Byron and skipper Erin were knowledgeable and friendly. The night kayaking to see the bioluminescence was so incredible and we even saw a shooting star and heard a kiwi! We caught some fish, saw a hammerhead shark, a seal, and a dolphin!! The meals were great. Snorkelling and paddle boarding and hiking the island were all fantastic. This was the highlight of our 2 week NZ trip for my husband and I. It was such an authentic experience, definitely worth the money!

5.00I went on the Rock Adventure Cruise during my 2 weeks in NZ and it was the highlight of my trip! The staff is amazing, so kind and helpful! They ensure everyone feels welcome and answers any questions. The food was also great and had a nicely stocked bar. There was also lots of agenda items, including fishing, snorkeling, kayaking and more. You can't beat the views of the bay from the boat. This was also my first time on an overnight cruise and it was quite an experience. I will love to come back again, if I am ever in NZ in the future!

5.00This rock boat trip was one of the highlights from my studied abroad trip! The crew was friendly and made everyone welcome abroad and there were a ton of activities that one can do! We went night kayaking, swimming, fishing, and went on a little hike near the bay of islands. I would do this adventure again if I have to chance. If you are in the area with a group of friends or family, this is a must!

5.00The Rock Boat was by far my most memorable and favorite part of my study abroad experience in New Zealand. From the second we met the crew, they made sure that we were as comfortable as possible and informed us about everything we should know as passengers on the boat. We were continuously kept busy with several activities which included fishing, kayaking in the bioluminescence water, snorkeling, jumping off the side of the boat, catching sea urchins, and more! We were also fed dinner, breakfast, and lunch. All of which exceeded my expectations and was absolutely delicious. The entire cruise was an unforgettable experience that I recommend for anyone traveling to New Zealand looking to meet new people, have amazing views, and have a well-kept itinerary.

5.00The rock boat was an amazing experience. I studied abroad in NZ and stayed all over the north island but this was my favorite thing I did. We had the chance to swim with the bioluminescence in the water, snorkel, hike on a beautiful island, and so much more. Our crew was amazing, specifically Byron and Finn made our experience ten times more fun.
