Your guide James Hart has been conducting tours for more than two decades. As a London “Blue Badge” tourist guide he has a great depth knowledge of the Tower of London and will provide you with plenty of stories about its celebrated residents and its bloodthirsty history. You will enter the towers and rooms of the medieval palace and see the White Tower where King Henry the Eighth’s armour is displayed. You will walk through rooms which held prisoners and visit the private execution site. You will see the dazzling Crown Jewels, and the spectacular Regalia used in the coronations of Kings and Queens for centuries. You will see the resident Yeoman Warders (“Beefeaters”) and the famous ravens.
Clients taking this tour have an opportunity to upgrade with a Crown Jewels Afternoon Tea at the Four Seasons Hotel. A luxurious selection of sandwiches, pastries, scones, and fine teas.
During January, February & March ‘25 the tour will be led by another Viator 5* reviewed local expert.

5.00Highly recommend this tour, and our guide Denisa was terrific. We learned a lot from her. She is a wealth of information and a great story teller. I had no idea how spread out the Tower of London was. Excellent tour, highly recommend it and ask for Denisa.
Great tour, but not for families with children

3.00This tour was not good for children. There was not enough exploring, and more discussion on the surroundings. We had 11 and 13 year old boys and they wanted to explore the grounds more than stnad around and listen to the tour guide. Great tour, just not for a family.

2.00This tour depends very much on the ability of your guide. Ours was average at best, unfortunately, and she seemed to be a last minute substitute. Although she knew facts about what we were seeing, they were not presented in an engaging or interesting manner. Coupled with the extremely hot weather, the tour was not enjoyable.

5.00Our guide was M. She was outstanding! She was very knowledgeable and charming and managed to keep even our two ten year olds interested through the whole tour by engaging them in the storytelling. The tour was nicely timed at various locations and we were well informed of what we were about to see when we entered a few places on our own. M used photos and maps and little poignant items to give life to the tour. Thank you M for a very informative and memorable tour!
